| About: | Slash Writers Weekly is a place for writers and readers alike, however it is both an LJ Community and a Mailing List, we would like it if people could join both the ML and the LJ, if you do not have a Live Journal Code I do have some that I can give up so people can join, my email and other contact information is above. (if you can't get into the ML linke above simply send an email to: slashwriters-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and you will be automatically added to the ML) Ok well the idea behind this is to get people to write, be it a two paragraph thing, a PWP *plot what plot* or a ten page one shot, to a full blown out story. It's up to you. How this is going to work: Each Sunday I'll post: a persons name/characters name, along with a situation or experiance that someone would have to deal with, an image that can be used as a setting, a set up, a thought, or just an image in the story, and a poem/song that can be used as an idea for the story as well. And then what other people could do, is you can either: 1) incorporate the things, two of them or all of them into your writing. 2) or you can just use one of them. And --- that's really it, I will except people who just read I don't want to be the only one who posts though so it would be nice if I had a couple other people post something now and then. ^_^ Please include the following in your responeses Title: Rating: Archivable/Not: Pairing: (And what the characters are from (or if originals) if you don't use the character/show used in the challenge) Blurb: A little bit about it.. What You Used: (example: character, plot/setting, and poem or image and poem. What parts of the challenge you used) Ok Just a Few Rules 1. Be nice and curtious to everyone, no flaming, period. Please post your replies but here, as well as on the Mailing List 2. Post what you did, example, if you did the whole challenge in one, or just the person/character, or just the setting/scene, I want to know what it was. 3. please put a rating in it. 4. Post the first few paragraphs of your story in the post and please put the rest on lj-cut (if you don't know how to do that let me know) 5. Also please include a pairing, if you are pairing the character/person up with someone, please tell me who. 6. I would like to be putting these up on my site, if they go with the site, if for some reason you don't want me to put them up, I need you to up that in a note when you post your thing. 7.
