Before you email us your story, check the submission guidelines.

If you need a beta, email us and we will post a beta request in the community.

If you think you might be late with your submission, please let us know. Either way, we need to hear from you!

Submission guidelines [10 Dec 2009|08:56pm]

First, a friendly reminder that your Slashababy stories are due in two weeks (December 24th).

When you're ready, please send your story to secret.slasha @ gmail.com as an attachment in plain text (.txt file). Name the attached file "submission_from_yourname.txt" (where yourname is your LJ user name or first name, whichever you signed up with).

The story should be formatted the same way as for an LJ post: please use <i></i> for italics and <b></b> for bold, but don't put in lj-cut tags or a disclaimer (we will add those.) Please separate paragraphs with a blank line.

( Smart quotes and special characters (with visual aids) )

( Beta Readings Are Good )

If you have a problem that might keep you from finishing on time, please contact us as soon as possible, the sooner the better!

Sign-ups are now open! [15 Oct 2009|07:14am]

Sign-ups for 2009 [info]slashababy, LotR RPS story exchange, are now open.

The rules are the same as previous years--try to fill at least parts of the request (especially pairings), and write at least 1,000 words. We want to make sure that somebody doesn't write ten pages of fic to only get a drabble in return.

  • Sign-ups start today and end on October 29
  • Assignments will be sent out by November 5
  • The deadline for submissions is December 24
  • Stories will be posted on December 31
  • Authors will be revealed on January 7
