AboutThis is a community built to host discussions about lit. theory as it pertains to performance poetry, spoken word, and slam. All are welcome, but must remain respectful (and hopefully impersonal) in disagreement. This community intends to create and foster energetic conversations and disagreements about how, why, and in what manner we may seek to judge performance poetry.
You can also post questions, queries, topics, or links for provocation.
This is NOT a community for the posting of poetry, unless it be to illustrate a specific point.
This is NOT a community that reviews, critiques, or tutors poets or their poems.
The moderator neither screens nor reviews comments, since she has a life, so if you feel someone is being unnecessarily nasty, trollish, or slanderous, please email her: claudelemonde @ gmail . com, and she will make a Simon-Cowell-esque decision as to whether or not banning is warranted. However, no posts will ever be deleted by anyone not the original poster (including comments).
