Welcome, students, to Sky High.

Mission Statement

This community was created as a shrine to Disney's new movie, Sky High. We are open to anyone and everyone who loves the movie and/or one of the movie's many great and wonderful characters, and encourage you all to join and post to keep this community happy and healthy.

The main purpose of this community is to provide a place to have general discussion about the movie, meaning you are free to talk about your favourite character(s), your favourite scene(s), etc. However, you are welcome to post anything related to the movie, including any questions or clarifications you may have about something in the film, gossip you heard about any of the actors, movie-related surveys and/or memes, images of the actors and/or screencaps from the movie, links to external sites concerning the movie, any graphics (including icons) using images from/relating to the movie, fanfictions, etc. If you are unsure as to whether or not something should/can be posted here, make a pre-post asking me (hipthrust) if you think it's appropriate, and I'll answer as soon as I can. :)

(Note: if you are making an icon post, I suggest cross-posting it at skyhigh_icons, as well, as their main focus is on icons from the movie. :3 Similarly, if you are posting a fanfic, I encourage you to cross-post it at skyhighfic, as that is really the place to do it.)

School History

Sky High was founded in 1951 to deal with the post-war superhero baby boom. Our mission is to mold today's students into tomorrow's heroes. Sky High graduates have gone on to apprehend 62 of the world's most dangerous super-villains, thwart 27 alien invasions, and stop three out of four mutants who have run for president.

Our school employs the world's leading antigravitational equipment and is suspended some 20 miles in mid-air. Transportation will be supplied to all students, at no additional cost.
