Hello! This is my very first post here.
I'm not too sure if I may even post this but the email I sent to the mods hasn't been responded too yet and this is slightly time sensitive.
Behind the cut is detales of a facebook project I started at the start of this month (Mister Mann's Birthday). It currently regars Terrence Mann and I'm on a `finding members` drive for the group. I'd be very greatful if you could maybe give it a little look and perhaps join. It would be a great help to get some creative and interactive members, especially for the next project!

Dresden Files has become one of my favorite shows and because of that I keep thinking of different crossovers that I would like to see them in. :D Here are some scenarios of the boys interacting with different characters from books and t.v.

Lately I've been re-watching DF and now I find myself obsessed with the image of Harry doing yoga. 
Or, more specifically, the idea of Bob watching Harry do yoga.  Am I the only one? No really, am I?
Has it been done before, if not have I managed to infect any of you with the same idea?

I'm in deserpate need of a beta reader for a Dresden Files story that I'm currently working on. I would use the beta list provided by our wonderful mods in the community's profile, but from what I can tell - it is in current need of an update, otherwise I wouldn't trouble the skull_boy_love community.


What I'm looking for is a person with a good grasp of television canon, grammar (I am a comma queen,) and someone who enjoys beta’ing the *hell* out of fan fiction. While I currently have two amazing betas that I wouldn't trade for the world - I do need someone with a fresh pair of eyes that can ask questions that make me think and hopefully jumpstart the muse where I find myself stuck.


Word of warning. This story is enormous. It is very nearly finished, but there are a couple of parts that are throwing me and I would love to not only have someone to beta my story as a whole, but someone to bounce ideas off of as well. If you are interested and enjoy beta reading, please let me know. I consider myself pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Then I remembered Arthur C. Clarke's 10-word story ("God said, 'Cancel Program GENESIS.' The universe ceased to exist."), and I was happy, because one of the plotbunnies I had in mind and wanted to use (namely: "Bob kissed Harry. 'I needed a jolt', he said smugly." *grin*) just wouldn't fit into six words. :p

Anyway - then I thought it would be cool to play this game in this comm. How about that?

Unable to find a way out of the horrible dilemma of six or ten words, I'm leaving the choice to you. So - write six or ten word stories (or both - the more, the better), and post them in the comments.

Hey, folks. It's a new month, there's a new layout, and it's time for a new challenge. (After a month off. Oops!) So for March, the challenge is Chicago.

Chicago plays a pretty important role in the Dresden-verse, being Harry's city and the seat of more than its share of supernatural upheaval. How does Chicago influence Harry and Bob, and how do Harry and Bob influence Chicago? From Undertown to the Chicago-doubles in the NeverNever; from the intrigue-heavy history to the iron leadership of the criminal underworld by John Marcone; from Harry's ad in the yellow pages to Murphy's relation to the city as one of the sworn protectors of it and its citizens ... Chicago holds a big place in the relationships between the characters and in defining the characters themselves. (Or does it? *winkwink*)

Take this challenge in whatever way you see fit, and remember, all types of submissions are welcome.
