Welcome to SKINS FANS. Pretty self-explanatory really - you have stumbled upon the first LJ Community dedicated to the new British drama, premiering on E4, Thursday 25th January at 10pm.
Starring Nicholas Hoult (that kid from About A Boy.. actually turned out to be quite fit!) Skins is a new show from the makers of Shameless.
Skins is focused around the lives of a group of 16-17 year old teenage friends in Bristol. Sunny, optimistic kids who "grab life by the balls and give it a twirl". Kids who party hard, pass exams, have sex, self-harm, manage their parents, interface with their teachers and push boundaries - both home and abroad. The result is intended as a hilarious mixture of sweet, charming and sometimes heartbreaking stories which focus on comic potential as well as proper emotional development.
