"even though i didn't meet the criteria i thought i'd try anyway" - thats pure cheek and we would like to smack people that try that one.
"i've recently changed journals" - only the journal you request with counts.
"i'm a member of such and such" - we don't care, we reallllly don't care.
Also use of profanity is mocked and laughed at for the sheer ridiculousness of taking the time out of your internets to tell us how mean we are.
This is a locked community, membership is by approval only.
criteria for membership - edited 8th May 2008
Users must meet up to each point of the following criteria before their membership application will be considered, with NO EXCEPTIONS:
1. Your LJ must be at LEAST 6 months old
2. You must have regular posts to your LJ this means a few different things:
i) No more that 5 weeks since your last post.
ii) Enough entries to equal the amount of time that you've had your LJ (we average 2 posts per month as a basic guide - and by basic guide we mean BASIC sometimes we'll deny and sometimes we'll accept - it all depends on overall impression).
iii) A good volume of comments (in relation to the length of time you've had your LJ).
3. a Healthy looking friends list - we look for a good friends:communities ratio. Also an up to date friends/communities list, this means little to no strikeouts.
4. mutual friends listed - we require you to display your mutual friends list on your userinfo. To do this go to "edit your userinfo" and scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the box that says "Mutual Friends: show friends who have also friended you". You can undo this after your application has been accepted/denied. You can reapply if this is the reason for your denial so long as you've fixed it.
