First person/character than came to my head: Bernard Black. I guess because I can't think of a better way to end my days (and if I'm stuck on a desert island, they'll end, I mean unless my FC of choice was McGyver but, I'm not the type of person that would do that, you know the type of person who puts "unlimited wishes" as one of their 3 wishes, type of person, because I'm sure, had I chosen McGvyer, he'd be able save us, but I mean, why fight it?) than smoking and drinking alongside someone who surpasses me in their awesomeness and cynicism (and you know that where there's Bernard, there's alcohol and cigarettes, and who cares about preserving your health when your going to die because you're stranded on a freakin island). Now there's a fantasy. Tags: me, writer's block Current Mood: AHH! Exclaimation marks! Current Music: Bon Iver covering OR's Blue Tulip

That's right New Zealand has 2 gold medals! Accompanying that we have 1 silver and 4 bronze. I know, it's a lot of bronze. But hey. 7 Medals. Yay. Saturday/Sunday winners Also, it seems some of the aussies are a bit annoyed that Great Britain has surpassed them on the old medal table. Well, cry me a river. I officially support Great Britain secondarily, only after NZ, now. And, no, that's not mean, I'm a kiwi, that's just what we do. That's the rule. Yes, I've been watching way to much of the olympics, much to the detriment of my studies. Pity I don't really care. I mean, c'mon, once in every four years? That gains priority I should think. ETA: Total medal tally: 3 gold, 1 silver, 5 bronze. Yep, bronze is our speciality, we also got the New Zealand Fourth multiple times.
Also, a little humour - I don't think I've posted this onion vid here before, but it's one of the funnier ones. "How would you like it if you spent your two months in a mountain cave sleeping on rocks, planning something really special only to have someone take the credit away from you?" Well, I sure will ask myself that question next time someone hammers on about 9/11 conspiracy theories.
