please include the journal entry url, even if it's private. it's not fun nor funny to use google and search for stupid pictures and just post them. also, prove to us that you aren't just using pictures from your friends journals.
here's a code to input the url for the journal entry and for the img tag. just input the urls between the qoutation marks.

if your image has been used, don't bitch to us about it, just change the url on your image host. we don't care enough to bother looking for more of your pictures. for serious. get over yourself. look at all these other people we're looking at and enjoying much more than you.

we're not stealing your pictures. if you have a problem with this, talk to the lj images sites. we're just the gleaners of this place.

Let us try to keep the images down to either the EXTREMELEY funny or the pure amateur. This means cutting back on the Russians. For reals people.
It is as if Russians have never seen the pink of a woman's genitalia before! They love to repost sloppy 90s porn. Yes, there is a lot of content being uploaded by them, but unless it looks like it is content related to themselves or those they know, please restrain yourself. The way to check for this is that you look for a banner on the image ["fun.ru" is a website full of easily skimmed images, and I see their images often on lj.] or you view the rest of their journal. If the journal is purely made up of image post after image post, then great, friend them or suggest them to us, but don't post their images. Off the top of my head, I can name cypa and dashing.
Excluding pictures posted to madradhair goes without saying. Ditto for all the other "LOLZ" and "ROFFLIES" image communities [space_ghetto, wtf_inc, wtf_omg, etc]. We've all seen them, let's not point fingers. Let's not allow this community to turn into one either.
I'd hate to create stiff rules, but if we don't use discretion, if we allow the dumbing down to continue, it may be a possibility.
Also, I think we should initiate an outreach program. When you click on a post that interests you, and you see somebody has already commented, and maybe you've seen them comment before and you're sure they aren't a friend of the image poster, and they aren't already a member of skimages, discretely say hi and point them in our direction.
