dinogrrl86@yahoo.com AboutHello, and welcome to Sketchydoodles! Here, you can post random doodles and in-progress sketches that you have worked on. The point of this community is not refined, polished pieces. There are a million gallery websites and communities for that. This is a place where you can post your 'scraps', the little random silly doodles that never leave the sketch phase. The stuff you'd be embarrassed to post elsewhere, the messy, the strange, the doodly.
There are a few rules for sanity's sake.
- If posting multiple images or images over 600 pixels on any side, PLEASE put it behind an LJ-cut! If you do not know how to do this, refer to the LJ FAQ.
- Please keep it PG13 rated and below. Anything obscene or overly sexual will be deleted. Any doodles that contain nudity MUST go behind an lj-cut.
- Copying other people's artwork is frowned upon, but is allowed. If you are posting artwork that is a copy of another artist's work, you MUST give the original artist credit in your post, as well as post a link to the image you have copied, if applicable. Failure to do so will result in the post being deleted. This includes photographs!
- Art theft, however, is NOT okay, ever. If you didn't draw it, don't post it! We have a no-tolerance policy for thieves... if you repost another artist's work, you will be banned.
- Critique will only be given if you specifically ask for it. Because of the nature of these kinds of doodles, most are not meant to be critiqued. However, if someone DOES post some unwanted criticism on your art, don't make a scene of it. Take it in good stride, please.
- There will be no bashing/flaming/spamming of any kind here.
- Off-topic posts WILL be deleted. This includes advertisements.
