I just noticed that today is the first anniversary of ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) singer_salvage. Wow, it's amazing how time flies when you're writing fic!
We have over 150 members and nearly that many friends lurking, which is pretty spiffy. I hope we'll hear more from all of you in the months and years ahead, and that you'll tell your friends about us. If you see a good Bobby-centric fic posted somewhere, please point the writer in this direction!
While this community has mostly spawned fic, Bobby icons and artwork are fine as long as they're behind cuts for courtesy.

Author's note: Bobby is not the protagonist, but he's a strong presence in this story. The title is from William Butler Yeats' poem "The Lake Isle of Innisfree."

The world does not know.
There are scattered news reports of a dramatic spike in lightning strikes, fires of unknown origin and bizarre violent crimes, but no enterprising reporter ever puts it all together. Hellfire and brimstone evangelists still pound the pulpit and interpret the world food crisis, the trade imbalance, global warming and the shaky financial system as signs of the approaching apocalypse without knowing that it's come and gone already.
No credible source is writing epilogues for the Scriptures, so the war between Heaven and Hell has gone unrecorded.
That's okay, Dean thinks as he looks across the table at his brother and Bobby.
