Icon Concrit Meme
Because we can all improve. True story.

1. Reply to this thread with your username and the journal you post your icons at. If personal, be nice and share your icon tag. You may also include 5 - 10 examples of your icons so those not familiar with it may comment as well.*

2. Pimp this as if you had a hat not unlike this one.

3. Reply to different comment threads. When doing so, please remember that this an Icon CONCRIT Meme. As in Constructive Criticism. For those unfamiliar with the concept, I'd advise you to do a little research on the phenomenon.

4. It's not anonymous. If it's not something you can say to someone's face (as in actually constructive), consider revising your statement so it actually is.

We know you're a rockstar when your best work has been around for many moons, in fact, we probably worship at the temple of your genius. However, we'd like to concrit what's going on recently. Because we can't change the past. No. We're not using any time travel methods used in recent media. Think of the children. Or Star Wars.

	Of these particular examples, I'm totally loving #01 & #04. I do feel that your icons as a whole have a lovely clarity to them. I would advise you to particularly with the brushy fonts like the one in the first icon, to make it kinda blurry. Just because it adds to the brush feel to the icon. (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

	my favorite is the fourth and eighth i personallyl ove the colouring and i'm more a fan of not being able to see full faces/straight on face cropping, so that's probably why i prefer those :] (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

	I really really love how you use black to create negative space! and then the bright colors in juxtaposition to the darkness makes a really interesting composition. although sometimes there's too much yellow/red so maybe i'd tone down that? but that' just my opinion since i don't really like red/yellow ): (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

	OMFG I love that Britney one!!! The colors are stunning! I really like the crops on the others as well. They are very captivating. I am not sure what to say for constructive, I'd like to see you do more icons with more than just faces, more full body stuff like the Britney icon. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	jehnt @ iconzero... though I am so behind in posting icons there that it's ridiculous, so looking at my userpics gets you a much better idea of what I'm actually doing iconwise now (especially the most recent thirty or so, though all of them are styles I still like a lot).
