I'm a writer who is striving to lead a life centered on simplicity and self-discipline, which requires me to spend much of my time in solitude. I'm interested in other people who center their lives on simplicity and/or solitude, whether they be religious or non-religious. I'm especially interested in the traditions of Christian hermits, monks, and nuns, as well as in Christian groups that practice plain living.
