For anyone here interested in challenges/stories/legacies pertaining to The Sims 3 who doesn’t want to have to sift through all the TS2 posts, you should come over to simsthree. You can post your TS3 legacies, pic spam, or create/read challenges. You could even show off those pretty houses and rooms! You should go take a look. (And join!)

well . . .i love the fact that you can now -- with bon voyage -- build on a beach! so i bring you this little -- biggish -- victorian that i built on a beach. not a tropical beach, but more of a pacific northwest or washington type beach. enjoy!

Hey simmers =)

I'm new here, though I have been playing the Sims2 since it came out. I recently got a new computer and so have lost all of my custom content, and since you people always have magnificently amazing furniture here, I was wondering whether you could point me in the right direction. I haven't installed any expansions yet (though I have nightlife, uni and business).

Check out the extensive and varied list of sites @ Free Sims 2 Simming, a Wetpaint Wiki; the link to the list of recommended FREE sites is close to bottom of the page. One site in particular --- Moune's Neighborhood --- succeeded in tempting me to go on a downloading spree this morning, where I picked up a bunch of great lamps, organza curtains, and Asian-inspired paintings.

Before anything else, I just wanted everyone to know that our memories have finally been updated (I've been remiss in my duties as mod --- it's been months since I visited! --- but that's all fixed now) and that I'm really pleased at all the lovely decorating jobs that everyone has posted since I last visited!

There are a handful of images in this post that have to do with decorating so I thought I'd post them here too (though I'm too lazy to sort through things). This was a simple job, and done according to my preference for spare interiors.

Had some downtime this weekend and felt like building (well, modding a Maxis made house, anyway) and doing some light decorating.
