What's this community for?

Originally, this was an icons community, but since iconning has fallen largely out of favour in pursuit of things I enjoy more (and am certainly better at) I decided to start using it for something else.

Namely a daily list of things I want to accomplish (you'll find 'finished' lists on my main LJ) and things I'm grateful for, give me joy or think are beautiful, etc.

Who are you?

I'm just a sensitive young woman from the Netherlands, looking for her reflection. ^-^ If you'd like to know more, you can always look at my personal journal.

Why 'Silverkolibri'? What does 'kolibri' mean?

'Kolibri' is Dutch for 'hummingbird' and undoubtedly means such in at least one other language. 'Silverhummingbird' and 'zilverenkolibri' were too long as usernames, so I merged the two. Though I've never seen a hummingbird in my life (well, beyond photos and documentaries, but those don't count) I've always had an attraction to them.

That I later found out that a hummingbird would suit the nature of my intended use for this community is all the more wonderful.
