| About: | Silverdale Fine Arts is a nonprofit Corporation of visual artists dedicated to: 1. Promoting the advancement and awareness of the arts. 2. Offering support and encouragement to those interested in the arts. 3. Provide an opportunity for members to display and sell their artwork. 4. Assist Members in artistic success through promotion, education, and community service. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ GENERAL INFO FOR Gallery Artists: This is a temporary place for ideas and information of interest to members of the Silverdale Fine Arts Cooperative (referred to in this journal as "Silverdale Fine Arts Gallery". Please note that this journal is accessible to the public and anyone can access it if they have the web address (URL). I set up this journal for our use and will maintain it. The way it works is that it's a community journal (blog) and anyone with a Live Journal account (free) can make posts. Anyone can comment but a post can only be made by someone with a Live Journal account. You don't need to have website or html skills to have a journal and there isn't the privacy invasions and information farming that are associated with sites like "myspace" and those other advertising laden types of blog places. (you can remain totally anonymous with even your email address not disclosed to the public) If you set up your own journal you can make posts here as a member of this journal community instead of just commenting.
