AboutThis community is meant for Sierra Club members to meet, exchange info and participate in discussions about the Sierra Club and topics/issues of interest to members. Non-Sierra Club members, particularly those interested in the environment and/or in joining the club, are welcome to join the community, participate in community discussions and ask questions about the Sierra Club.
The intention is that there will be no restrictions on discussions and the free exchange of opinions in the community. However, please be respectful of others and their opinions and avoid personal attacks.
Feel free to post about current events related to the Sierra Club or to issues of concern to the Sierra Club (like conservation and the environment). Posts about Sierra Club and Non-Sierra Club outings/trips are welcome. You may post photographs if you like, but please put all but one of them behind an LJ cut and make them a reasonable size. (If you do not know how to use an LJ cut, please refer to the Live Journal FAQ.)
