Welcome to E pur si muove, which, for those of you who don't speak Italian, translates to "And Yet it Moves," an rpg-styled writing community. 'E pur si muove' is rumoured to be what Galileo whispered under his breath after being forced to recant his studies and declare that the Earth was fixed at the centre of the universe.

As the Wizarding world struggles to move forward and beyond the damage caused by Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters, the loss of life and devastation doesn't stop the world from continuing on. Things keep moving; relationships form, develop, and evolve. The lines between good and evil are blurred, and it's hard to know who is right and what is wrong.

This RPG is private and has restricted access to members only. If you've enjoyed reading us in the past - and we hope you have! - we'd be happy to have you keep doing so. The main thing is that you'll have to sign up as a member of the community and contact one of the admins to have your membership approved. Thank you for your understanding.

FAQ:

Can I comment on the entries, even though it seems mostly only players do that?
YES! *cough* We really like to hear that we're not writing into a vacuum, so if you feel moved to comment on anything, please do.

Do I have to talk to the characters as if they're real?
No, that's entirely optional. Some people find it fun, but it's up to you whether you talk to the characters or the writers.

Why are some characters missing?
When players leave the game, for whatever reason, their characters go back into the pool of available characters. Unless and until they get picked up again, the characters basically disappear from the universe.

Why did some characters change?
When a previously played character is picked up, they are not obligated to play the character with the same personality or plotline as before. In some cases there's only minor changes, but in others there's a sharp divide.

Can I write with you guys?
Probably? Read over the guidelines and submit an app if you're so inclined, or talk to an existing player first if you're shy.
