Welcome to

shoujoku_awards, another icon challenge community for the anime/manga series, Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena)! This is just like any other icon challenge community. As of now, we are looking around for some new members, so please join if you're not a member already!

[ schedule ]

A new theme is posted every Monday.
The deadlines for every icon are on Sundays at 12PM (Eastern time).
The poll will be posted soon after the icon deadlines.
The polls close on Tuesdays at 10:00PM (eastern time).
Winners for the challenges will be posted soon after the polls close.
Banners will be made eventually.

[ submitting ]

You may submit up to 2 icons per theme.
All icons must focus on the SKU series, manga, or movie. No fanart or doujinshi.
Submitted icons cannot be older than 7 days.
The icons cannot be viewed by anyone other than yourself before you submit it.
All icons must meet LiveJournal's standards (100x100 pixels, 40kb or less, etc.)
.jpg, .gif, and .png are the only files accepted for the icons.
LiveJournal is NOT an option for hosting your icons.
All icon submissions must contain both the icon and the icon URL.

Your submission(s) should always look something like this:

Do not vote for yourself.
Only members can vote.
Most polls will be based on weighted votes. You must indicate which icon you vote for first, second, and third place.
The icons cannot be viewed by anyone other than yourself before you submit it.

Your votes should look something like this:
First: icon #
Second: icon #
third: icon #

(Or any other way that the mods can easily indicate as first, second, and third place.)
