Summaries
These summaries are to serve as reference for those hooker!verse readers and writers who want to refresh their memories regarding a certain plot point or sequence of events but don't have time to read everything again. As such, they contain SPOILERS. Those readers who have not read everything are strongly urged to read the fics before their summaries; otherwise, you're just missing out...

o1. Second Choice (1)
Siwon, a prized regular at the PGC, is upset to find that his favorite, Heechul (a.k.a. Rella), is unavailable for the night. House mama Eeteuk suggests that he try Hangeng, the new Chinese boy, and he is not disappointed...

o2. Learning
Eeteuk picks up Changmin, a homeless boy, off of the streets, and upon getting the approval of business manager Kibum offers him a home and a job. Changmin begins mentorship under Jaejoong, and their relationship develops beyond that of teacher and pupil. Changmin's first client is Yunho, one of Jaejoong's regular patrons. He is quite taken with Changmin as well, and this causes some tension between the boy and Rella, whom Yunho also frequents. In the end, Yunho asks for both Jaejoong and Changmin at once...

o3. To Have And Hold
Delivery boy Hyukjae meets Donghae one day when he brings coffee to the PGC, and their relationship develops as deliveries continue. When Hyukjae's co-worker Shindong tells him what the PGC is, Hyukjae is shocked but continues to see Donghae. Donghae sneaks him inside one night and they have a scare when Hangeng sees them leaving. When Donghae is abused by a client because he refuses to remove the bracelet Hyukjae gave him, Hyukjae tries to get him to leave, but he refuses. Hyukjae stops seeing Donghae for a while, but in the end has to see him again and their relationship continues...

o4. Second Choice (2)
Kangin begins frequenting the club but never buys anyone's time; he only has eyes for Eeteuk, who is flattered but not for sale. Heechul realizes bitterly that he has lost to Hangeng and become Siwon's second choice. Siwon, meanwhile, comes to an understanding with the woman his father has chosen to be his wife, the Korean-American Stephanie, and we are introduced to Heechul's little sister Boa, who wonders how Heechul gets the money to pay her college tuition.

o5. Appearances
Yunho dislikes Siwon, and the feeling is mutual. When Yunho asks Siwon about his wedding he touches a nerve, but Siwon unnerves Yunho even more when after the wedding he drunkenly reminds Yunho that he, too, will have to get married. Meanwhile, Heechul struggles to deal with falling out of Siwon's favor, Jaejoong teases Yunho by telling him he's been with Siwon, and Changmin distracts Yunho from thoughts of his own wedding day.

o6. And I'll always be waiting in the back room
Heechul despairs of winning back his spot as Siwon's favorite and acts rashly when Siwon comes to him. Hangeng, on the other hand, suspects that Siwon will go back to Heechul when the novelty of "Chinese" wears off.

o7. To Hear
Changmin begins to secretly save money and when he has enough leaves the PGC without telling Yunho or Jaejoong. Yunho finds him running a food stall weeks later and goes back to his apartment with him once he closes up shop for the night. Jaejoong is angry with him when he comes to visit, but eventually forgives him, and in the end Yunho and Jaejoong show up at his apartment together to play...

o8. Challenge
Sungmin is working the streets when Kibum recruits him for the PGC. Eeteuk puts him to work on the recalcitrant Kangin, and he succeeds where none of the others could, but Sungmin find himself uncharacteristically stuck on Kibum, who seems immune to his charms.

o9. Two can play this game
Sungmin tries to manipulate Kibum but he is the one who ends up manipulated.

10. Bend/Break
Kangin continues to see Sungmin but also continues to pine for Eeteuk, and Eeteuk's resolve begins to falter when Kangin kisses him one night. When Kangin gives him a pendant to make up for his misbehavior, Eeteuk turns to Siwon to quell the need he feels growing within him...

11. Wildfire
Boa is distracted from her studies by her obsession with a mystery girl whom she goes out every Friday night just to catch a glimpse of. This time, the mystery girl notices her, too...

12. Extracurriculars
Yunho pays for Changmin to go back to school. Changmin's new classmates are scandalized when Jaejoong greets him with a kiss at the school gate after classes let out; they would be even more scandalized by what Jaejoong treats him to in a nearby park...

13. Secrets
Donghae is scared by how much he's come to care for Hyukjae; he is even more scared when Sungmin reveals that he knows about Donghae sneaking Hyukjae into the PGC. Sungmin agrees to keep quiet if Donghae tells him what he knows about Kibum, so Donghae does: Kibum was a classmate of Siwon's and a good student but dropped out during his final year of high school, and every year on a certain day Eeteuk sends Donghae to service Kibum in his office. What he doesn't know is that every year before Donghae comes, Kibum spends hours looking at a picture of Yesung...

14. Lying
New customer Kyuhyun shakes Jaejoong up with his haughtiness until Jaejoong realizes it's all an act...

15. Forgiven
At his father's interment, wealthy heir Yoochun catches a glimpse of Junsu walking into the church and is enthralled. On the advice of his friend Siwon, Yoochun visits the PGC looking for someone like Junsu to take his mind off of grieving and is paired with Jaejoong, who is nothing like Junsu but has his own charm. Back at the church on Sunday, Yoochun sees Junsu singing at the service but only has the time to ask him his name. When he sees him again, singing jazz at a seedy nightclub, he learns that Junsu and Jaejoong have something in common after all: a price. Junsu sells himself to pay for his sick mother's medical care, and he is confident that God will forgive him, but for some reason he doesn't feel the need to be forgiven for Yoochun...

16. Obligations
Stephanie struggles to acclimate herself to married life and the obligations entailed by it. On a night out with her friends Ida (Isak), Sungmi (Dana), and Jiyeon (Lina), she spots Boa across the club and is drawn to her...

17. Interlude
Heechul confronts Donghae about Heechul, Eeteuk about Kangin and Kibum about Sungmin, and they all skirt the issue of their relationships (or lack thereof).

18. Salvation
When Hyukjae sees Donghae with a customer, he can't control his jealousy; they fight, and when Hyukjae says he can't accept Donghae working at PGC anymore and Donghae says he can't leave, they break up. Later, a drunken Hyukjae stumbles into an alley only to find Junsu there with Yoochun. Junsu takes Hyukjae home, and his attempts to comfort his heartbroken friend turn into something more...

19. Waking Dreams
Hyukjae dreams that Donghae has come back to him and wakes up more alone than ever.

20. Twist/Turn/Diverge
Donghae's performance at work is suffering because of his breakup with Hyukjae; when he is confronted about it, he breaks down and cries, unexpectedly, on Hangeng's shoulder. Later, Kibum tells him to take some time off, and he finds his feet taking him to Hyukjae's. He intends to apologize, but when Junsu answers the door he misunderstands, yells and storms off instead. Junsu, now understanding why Hyukjae was upset, gives him the money he earned from Yoochun and Hyukjae uses it to buy a night with Donghae at the PGC...

21. Try
Hyukjae's last delivery of the night is, coincidentally, to Yoochun and Junsu's motel room. While Junsu is in the shower, Yoochun reveals that the money Junsu gave Hyukjae to see Donghae is an advance from him. Hyukjae offers himself to Yoochun if he agrees to cancel Junsu's debt, and when Junsu emerges from the shower he is surprised to see them together but is convinced to join in. Later, when they are alone together, Junsu tells Hyukjae his mother is dying and urges him to make up with Donghae. When Hyukjae buys Donghae again he tells him he got the money from selling himself; tempers flare, but both realize their issues with jealousy and agree to try being together again.

22. Family
After a visit with Jaejoong, Changmin runs into his Japanese teacher, Bora (Sunday), outside of the club. She has taken a second job at a hostess bar and is being stalked by a patron, so Changmin offers to let her stay at his place for the night and she accepts. The next day, she explains that she is trying to save money to get her brother out of debt. When Changmin later realizes that Yunho will have to get married soon for the sake of appearances, he proposes a scheme in which Yunho pays off Bora's brother's debt in return for her participation in a sham marriage with him, and both parties agree. Bora quits her job at the bar, calls her brother—who is none other than Yesung—and tells him that his debt will be paid and she never wants to hear from him again.

23. Soon
When Changmin's classmate Henry makes a move on him at school and they are caught, Changmin's guardian—Yunho—is called in and asked to discipline him. This incident becomes, much to Changmin's chagrin, the basis of merciless teasing by both Yunho and Jaejoong. In the meantime, Henry demonstrates that he still has designs on Changmin, and Changmin finds that he isn't sure he minds...

24. and I'll take what remains of me
Junsu's mother dies and Hyukjae comforts him. Donghae, meanwhile, can't keep himself from confronting Junsu about Hyukjae, and when he does he learns to his surprise that Junsu gave Hyukjae the money to see him. He is even more surprised when Junsu says he will give Hyukjae up. Junsu says the same to Hyukjae later and leaves to go on holiday and clear his mind.

25. Mergers and Acquisitions
Yesung shows up at the PGC and his reappearance shakes Kibum to the core. Seeing this, Sungmin decides to get to know Yesung with the hope of learning how to make Kibum his. In the end, the reason for Yesung's visit is revealed—he has purchased the PGC from Mr. Choi and is now its new owner.

26. Cold Comfort
A drunken Siwon comes to Heechul after his father has sold all of the family's assets and reveals a chink in his armor for the first time.

27. Tit for Tat
Yesung and Sungmin come to an agreement: Yesung will tell Sungmin his secrets about Kibum and Sungmin will tell Yesung his secrets about the PGC. One of these secrets is Donghae's relationship with Hyukjae, and lucky for Donghae: because of this information, Yesung decides to follow Donghae and ends up saving him from a group of thugs that jump him after seeing him out with Hyukjae. Yesung then ropes Donghae into a scheme to intimidate one of the other PGC workers.

28. My Cup Runneth Over
Bora and Changmin kiss (each, ostensibly, pretending the other is Yunho) and Bora tells Changmin that the Chois have sold everything. Changmin realizes the implications for the PGC, but is distracted by Henry. Meanwhile, Yesung shows Jaejoong something to keep him from fraternizing with customers outside of the club.

29. Rules
That something, it turns out, is the henna tattoo he made Donghae get after saving him. Jaejoong, thinking the tattoo is real, is scared, but not enough to stay away from Yunho outside the club. In the end, he decides to move in with Changmin. Meanwhile, Yoochun and Junsu discuss Hyukjae.
