You. Are. Wrong.
How many times do I have to remind you that your ship is bad and you should feel bad? Didn't you watch the series properly?! Aang does not love or care about Katara. He's a selfish little boy who has to have his own way and only sees her as a shiny object, his prize for winning the day. The only reason Kataang is canon is because Bryan and Mike wanted to coddle the Gary Stu. If they were truly good writers they would have paired Katara with Toph or Haru! (And of course, I'm the only Avatar fan ever to find Haru's mustache rather attractive. *smug smile*) Plus, Aang and Katara have fought and hurt each other so many times there's no way what they share could even resemble love or even like! Look up Masochism Tango on TVTropes and that's them in a nutshell. And while you're at it, look up The Wesley and Strangled By The Red String.
And Ken? Don't even get me started. He's an asshole who only cares about himself, just look at the way he tries to control Joe's use of the Bird Missiles when it's his job to fire them! He smarts off to Nambu, ignores Ryu except to bark orders at him, sets a poor example for Jinpei...and then there's Jun. A warm-hearted girl who loves and cares for him, but does Ken notice? Does he appreciate it? No, instead he takes advantage of her feelings for his own selfish needs. Thankfully, Ken/Jun will never be canon, and I couldn't be happier. Jun deserves much better.

This is a WRH-type fic based on "The Ember Island Players". I found Aang's behavior in that episode to be his most deplorable and disgusting, it pisses me off that he didn't get some form of punishment for violating Katara. But of course he wouldn't, seeing as how the little creep is a classic Author's Darling, Wesley and Gary Stu all rolled into one. Hmph. There's also some hinted Toph/Katara in this as well.

If I read one more insipid comment about how Erk is "such a pimp" or Serra is "a fandom bicycle", I'm going to scream! First of all, such comments are degrading to both their characters, especially a fine lady like Serra. Second of all, ErkxSerra is the intended canon couple and pairing them with others is just wrong. Priscilla and Nino have their canon lovers, Matthew is completely devoted to Leila's memory, Oswin is too old for Serra and Sain isn't fit for a serious relationship.
Erk is a tragically awkward young man who never learned to reach out to people. Serra is a lonely soul who wears a mask of arrogance and flirtations to mask her pain. But together, they can learn from each other as they walk the path of life together, and through healing and growing together they will eventually fall in love, realizing they were meant to be all along.
So stop writing off their relationship as "slap slap kiss", or insisting Erk is incapable of love and Serra a "demon" no man could ever love. You're slapping the creators in the face with such accusations and by only seeing the surface of the relationship, you're proving yourself to be shallow and immature.

Recently, I discovered the classic anime and manga series Cyborg 009, and the wonderful main couple of Joe Shimamura and Francoise Arnoul. Joe is a wonderfully sensitive hero, and Francoise is the ideal heroine, sensitive and mature and completely devoted to the one she loves.
Unfortunately, I have also discovered this fandom has an appallingly large slash following! *shudders* Twisting the straight hero and his equally straight friend into homosexual lovers at the expense of poor Francoise, forcing Albert to forget his beloved Hilda and fall into the arms of the nearest man, bashing of the female love interests for "getting in the way" of non-canonical and ridiculous yaoi pairings, where does it end?! *wrings hands*
Even the het fans aren't any better, writing horrible Jet/Francoise, Joe/Ishuki, Joe/Mary and Carl/Francoise! How could they, and then claim to be true fans of the canon when they ignore the ever-present love between Joe and Francoise?! Breaking them up is sick and wrong, period! It's a crime against nature!
On a happier note, may I recommend the beautiful canon-based works of GoldAngel2? Her stories not only follow canon as they should, but are the all-around best portrayal of JoexFrancoise I've ever read.

Okay, so... I know fate/stay night is for het like TnC is for gay but my favorite pairing is definitely Archer/Lancer (in either order). I'm sure that makes me horribly evil and everything but I just don't have any interest in the girls. They're good characters but they don't really mean much to me besides their interactions with Shirou.
Does that make any sense? Does that make me bad person?

As we all know, saying "I ship A/B" means that you want the two of them to have a nice, healthy relationship together, get married, and settle down with two children in a nice house with a white picket fence.

I'm seeing too many Ash/Paul and Dawn/Paul supporters lately. While I'm a good and fair person who respects all shippers' rights to pair whoever they want, I can't help thinking all ships with Paul are just WRONG! I'm especially sick of seeing these "hints" pages that make it seem like any reaction Ash or Dawn has towards Paul or vice versa means anything other than "Paul is a douchebag". I mean, it's pretty obvious the jerk is modeled off of REAL PEOPLE who have no lives so they spend hours tailoring special insults fashioned to make themselves look big and everyone else small, not to mention asshole elitist gamers who throw tantrums over people having a different opinion on battling methods. You wouldn't want other real people dating jerks like that, right? So in my opinion, Comashipping and Ikarishipping are gross. Sorry, but they just are.

If I read one more vapid fangirl or horny fanboy squeeing over how "cute" Oscar/Rosalie or Oscar/Antionette is, I will positively scream! The canon couple is AndrexOscar and to ignore it or break them up is a crime against nature. Oscar truly loved Andre all along, but was too repressed and afraid to admit it due to her strict and painful upbringing and the pressures she faced from society. As for Andre, he lived for Oscar and Oscar alone, to ignore those feelings is an affront to his pure undying love.
Rosalie also found her true love with a man as well, after recovering from her misguided feelings for Oscar. And Antionette was a poor, tragic figure torn between two men who loved her.
[insert another batch of whiny tl;dr bashing the yuri fans and missing the point of Oscar and Andre's relationship IN THE CANON]
So in conclusion, every time you support yuri in the Rose of Versailles fandom, you're violating the sanctity of true love.

I hate whenever main characters hook up. It's boring, cliche, and it's always feels forced to me. Why can't the main guy hook up with the better girl(not the first girl he sees). The main girl is always either a bitch like Naru and Akane, a terminally shy wallflower like Aoi from Ai Yori Aoshi with nothing but the main guy as their interests, or some other form of fail like being tsudere or something.
Stories should go for relationships that aren't always forced in the story because I say so and the reader is always right, right?
Anyways, MeixTomoya for superior pairing because it's not the main girl, and I like how they interact together. Screw reasoning.
