About:

shipper_asylum is a repository for creative works of

aruna7 and

so_out_of_ideas, two insanely desperate shippers. Specificially, the community now focuses on four couples within the Star Wars Universe:
Jaina Solo/Zekk, Obi Wan Kenobi/Padme Amidala, Shmi Skywalker/Qui-Gon Jinn, and Truen Calladann/Skynia Drego. One or both of us have created AU storylines for these couples, and the community is where we post our works, since we often co-create.

Posting access is moderated, but will be granted if anyone has art or fic to share within the established AUs that the community houses. Please comment to any post for access.

One Path
is a shared AU centering on Obi Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala. The story begins during The Phantom Menace with an unexpected but welcome friendship between the two. That friendship will have far reaching effects, and when friendship turns to something more, an entire galaxy will be changed, for better and for worse.

Shattered Fates
is a vid series based on the Knight Command RPG, which takes place 500 years after the established canon events in Return of the Jedi. The vids focus on the Jedi Order as led by the last remaining Jedi Master, Truen Calladann. The community will also feature fic and artwork by

so_out_of_ideas based on both the RPG and the vids.

The Choice You Didn't Make
is an AU fic series created by

aruna7 for her claim on

10hugs. There is also a longer sequel planned, both series exploring renewed feelings between Jaina Solo and Zekk.

We plan to co-create an AU story of Shmi Skywalker and Qui-Gon Jinn as well, so check back for updates.
