I am officially closing the comm. After a lack of response on the past two icon posts, I'm finally getting around to closing it down. This doesn't mean I'm going to stop making icons. I enjoy it enough not to let the failure of the community bring me down.

I will leave the comm up in it's current incarnation, but I will not be adding new icons here. I will be moving some icons arond at my image host, so some of them (mostly recent ones) may not show up in the next few days.

New icons will be posted to my journal in Friend's Only posts. So if you honestly still want to see my icons, friend me there, toss me a comment to let me know so that I can friend you back.

I've been very disappointed in the community for a while. I haven't gotten a single comment in 6 months. Now I know there hasn't been many icons posted, but c'mon people.

So I'm putting everyone on notice. I will be posting one more batch of icons after this post. If no one has comments or feedback on either of these batches, this community will be shut down, and icons will only be posted on my journal in flocked posts.

I don't want to be a bitch about it, but I spend a lot of time on these things and it sucks to never get any feedback. I don't think I'm being unfair here.

I finally got the icons uploaded to the gallery. I have a feeling I'm missing a handful, but I'm sure I'll dig them out eventually.

I made sure to upload my most recent icons last so that they would show up properly in the last uploads.

This however will change when I upload the banners and screencaps.

I just wanted to let everyone know they're up. :)

I uploaded to photobucket and edited the posts. So the icons should be viewable here.

I haven't had time to do anything with the gallery. Its a very time consuming project and not something I can just bang out in 5 minutes. Batch adding didn't work well for me before, so I'm not even going to try it this time. That means I have to load everything individually and I can only load 10 files at a time. I had 700+ icons, 60+ banners and I had just gotten 100 or so screencaps loaded.

Also, I'll keep taking requests (none as of yet) until the 19th, which is next Saturday.

Well, 97% of the site itself is back up, I just need to get content up on some pages. The gallery is there, and I've got one of the icon albums up and icons in it. The rest of the gallery is up, just no content. It'll take me a few days to get it all loaded again.

Sorry I haven't gotten the newer icons on photobucket yet. Today was sucky at work, and after getting one album done on the gallery, I'd had enough for one day.

So...to check and see if anyone is even reading these posts, I'm accepting requests for icons.

Just comment to this post with what you want. You'll either get it in a reply, or I'll give you an estimated time on when you can expect it.

Ok I've loaded everything I can at the moment. I didn't lose as much information as I thought. But the gallery, as I thought, was a total loss and will not be up in any sort of complete form this evening. The host is checking the site right now to make sure I'm not one of those trouble causing people (like the one that caused this whole mess in the first place), so access to the site won't happen until later this evening I would think. There's some bits of tweaking I can do to attempt to bring individual pages back up to date, but I can't work on the gallery until I can access the actual site.
