I finally got my pet project shiny enough to show off. It has free hosting so it's slow at times, and annoying pop ups may happen. (Although Chrome does a fine job of blocking them.) So I apologize in advance for that. The S/P Cover Archive - a site containing (almost) all the covers I've made for Sheldon/Penny fics, organized by length with the essential details. It was designed with the idea that others may join in on the cover making fun (yes, please!). Any important details can be found on the about page. Thanks again to artists and authors for letting me play with your toys!



(And while it's shiny enough there are still some things I plan to work out, such as everything properly tagged, and the browse section broken up by pages for faster loading. Eventually.)

Kaley on Lopez Tonight Wednesday December 2nd 2009 at 11/10c on TBS

I was watching Nick @ Nite (George Lopez) and when a commercial for Lopez Tonight came on they announced some of this week's guests and Kaley's name came up. I flipped over to TBS in time to see another version of said commercial so I visited www.lopeztonight.com/ and under the 'this week' column on Wednesday Taye Diggs, Kaley Cuoco, and Ruben Paul are listed as guests.

I'll watch it come Wednesday but won't be able to upload it to the site so my apologies in advance if anyone can please do so it'll be greatly appreciated.

P.S. aka Note to the Mods: Is there another tag that should be added the only ones I found that were appropriate were these two but is there one specific for TV appearances or am I just imagining things?

EPISODE DISCUSSION, Take 2 - 3.01 The Electric Can Opener Fluctuation

The boys return from their 3 month trip to the North Pole looking a bit like apes... find out how they adjust to being home.

Most of us have already seen this episode, so we thought it would be fun for those re-watching, or just wanting to revisit their early thoughts on it, to set up a discussion thread with a more retrospective point-of-view since we're X number of episodes past this one, and highlight the truly awesome aspects of the episode (see icon!). It seems likely that the show will come up with a new thing to deal with the summer hiatus, and I was thinking on a few ways this might happen. (I know they didn't do the summer break for season one, but there was the writer's strike and that pretty much messed everything up.) The two I like the best are ...

1. Sheldon realizes that he has feelings for Penny, but figures that absence will make them go away and so takes a sabbatical and moves back to Texas for the summer break.

The problem with this is that it might be too soon for something that drastic and it would be either completely buried upon the fall return, or explored, and again, might be too soon. So I much prefer this other option:

2. Penny gets a part in a small, horror-movie that will film in Transylvania. It would explain her being gone for that short of a time, wouldn't be something big enough that would change her lifestyle, but would still show *some* growth in her career. And finally we could see (a) Leonard NOT hung up about it, proving that he is over Penny once and for all, and (b) but Sheldon is somewhat hung up about it, showing that those feelings are beginning to grow.

So what are your potential hiatus ideas?

Today is the first day that I've been home for more than five minutes (or to sleep) literally since Thursday. I am working on getting the prompts paired and sent off today.
