I would like to keep this as tattoo related as possible but if you have something else that you want to post related to body modification, piercing or even tattoo history and culture, go right ahead!

I like to encourage sterilization, professionalism, and waiting until you are "of age" to be legally tattooed. Legally, meaning you are over 18 or have parental consent.
Warning: I do not endorse or encourage scratchers, home piercers, or butchers of body art, in general. If your friend hand pokes tattoos at home, it does not make him/her a professional. If your uncle, boyfriend, cousin, or whoever uses a home made machine and a guitar string, this is not the place to glorify them.
Overly technical information is a no-no...
