This is a community that explores online writing and everything that accompanies it, including, but not limited to, authors’ discussions, readers’ insights as to what attracts them to stories, and betas and how they view their participation in the writing process.
The community will host topic-specific discussions, guest speakers who can share expertise in a particular area of online writing and informal discussions started spontaneously by any members of the community who would like to post. Writers are invited to share their experiences, triumphs and traumas in the writing process.
So join in this multi-fandom/original stories community and take part as we share gathered wisdom in the writing experience.
Each week we'll have one post special for members.
The discussion post, or round table, which will be a hosted discussion every other week, featuring topics such as:
Share differences between online writing and writing for publication.
Discuss hurdles that authors come across as they’re developing stories.
How and why (or why not) use a beta.
Writing tips in general.
When a fandom fic crosses into AU/AR.
How to keep AU characters In Character .
Open forum for questions/help to solve story direction issues.

When to post stories…theories about whether it’s right to post a story that isn’t completed or has a detailed, focused outline.
Original writing vs fandom writing. How does it differ?
Guest speakers: multi fandom and original guest speakers featured every other week will cover a variety of topics from:

Every day:
Writer members are welcome to post about specific problems they are experiencing for brainstorming purposes.
Also, anyone who wants to try a new type of fiction, or would like to set new writing goals can ask for suggestions.
Membership to this community is open to Adults Only. You must be 18 to be a member of the community.
All discussion threads may be open or friends-locked: if a member feels the need to flock to the community sensitive material, they may do so. This may include our speakers, so if you don't want to miss any topics, it is suggested you join the community as a member as well as friending it.
Treat fellow members with respect. Absolutely no flaming. Differences of opinion are to be discussed in a civilized manner. This is a positive community. It's okay to say you don't care for a certain kind of story. It is not okay to mention authors writing it by name and start brawling with other members about it. Breach of this rule will result in removal from the community.
