dirt5298 is maitaining this community and will be setting up swaps and handling any concerns
The goal of this community is to share music with people everywhere and to get music you usually wouldn't hear (like new bands, local bands and just your favorite stuff).
How it works
1. A post will be made once a month bydirt5298 who will tell everyone we are opening this month's swap and to leave their email address (to help in the sharing of mailing information). After one week the post will be closed to further participants.
2. in a couple of days, another post will be made. this one will include the person you will be sending to and their email address... your job is to contact them and get their mailing info (put "Share the music in the subject field of the email. as this will make life easy)
CD's must be sent out by the deadline which will be posted...
a theme might be suggested but you dont have to go with it. just an idea.
If you have any problems getting the CD out on time, contact the person who's waiting on you, to explain that it may be delayed. If you can't send the CD out at all, please contactdirt5298 as well as the person waiting for your CD.
3. When you Create your CD also include a list of the songs you included and the artists. also, somewhere on the CD or cover put your LJ user name...
4. Send out your CD and leave a post here as to when you sent it out... when you recieve the one you are waiting on, email that person and say thanks, also post here saying you recieved it!! If you dont recieve your CD by the deadline of the following month and no explanation as to where it is, email me and we'll check on it.
The Rules

2.If you have a problem with someone first contact them, then if you still have problems contact medirt5298.
3. Make sure to reply to that month's post if you want to be included in that month's swap. Your email address must be included in this comment.
4. Include your Lj username clearly on the CD.
5. Include a full tracklisting with whatever you send out.
6. When emailing the other person to get postal details, put Share the music in the subject field.
7. You may post tracklists if you want, but please put them under a cut, so that it will not ruin the surprise of what the person is getting in the mail!
8. advertisments for other communitys and bands are not allowed (send the bands on your CD thats what its for) this will result in a warning... if you continue you will be Banned (if you really must advertise something, check with me first)
9. Selling things is not allowed if you want to sell something go to_buy_this_shit_
