Detail:
Shalom's name means 'peace' in Hebrew. She was spotted at a Cure concert in Toronto at the age of 16 by Anne Sutherland. Together with fellow model friend Amber Valletta she took over hosting the 'MTV House of Style' from Cindy Crawford in 1996. Shalom appears in the films 'In and Out', 'Cherry', 'Head Over Heels', 'Vanilla Sky', 'Happy Here and Now' and 'The Salton Sea'. As a child she did ballet. Shalom has had a 'Nars' lipgloss named after her.
