Abouti wanna start this by saying WE DO NOT CARE HOW HIP AND/ OR TRENDY YOU ARE! GOT IT?!?!! we're interested in talking to people with actual information to discuss... not about hipness. fuck your hip clothes. fuck your hip hair. fuck your trendy bands. do not enter unless you have something good to say.
if you match this description
post a list of up to twenty bands/artists you like. and we'll rip on you, or complement you and so on. arguments may ensue. fun stuff.
HOWEVER, the list is just for your first post to usher you in, or kick yourself out. after that, you are either free to post anything music related, or you're fucking banned.
OUR VOTING SYSTEM GOES AS FOLLOWS;
negative/neutral= (leave blank) and positive goes from 1+ to 10+, applicant passes with a score of over five times whatever # of artists listed that did not recieve a blank/negative/neutral (which are one in the same)
we need conversation, argument, and discovery. and what i mean by that is that we need to get people to talk and not just about lists, you can post any music query or conversation starter, and we can talk or argue or someone could refer a new band to you, and so on and soforth.
i will have a number of moderators (including myself) watching this site. if you post your list and you get a majority vote, your in. if we happen to have an even tie, I WILL BE THE TIE BREAKER! when you can see by your comments that you have a majority of yes votes from the moderators, then you may start voting, if you see a majority of no's, then that is your signal to never post or comment in here again. i don't care if you view it, just don't post or comment in it.
