What’s Going On?Everyone knows the story of Roanoke, how it was lost, how it disappeared with only one word left to tell the story Croaton But what if wasn’t lost? What if it was just misplaced?

Welcome to Roanoke, the not so lost city. It’s a small town with all the essentials. There’s a hospital, restaurants, bowling alley, school, houses, apartment buildings, a lake, a park, woods, a river and even a bit of a beach. It is a normal, small town with a few “exceptions”.
*People are pulled here from all times, all places, all worlds. Once they are here, they can’t leave.
*If they try to leave they’ll find the entire area surrounded by a wall. Over that wall exists some sort of invisible ‘ceiling’. Think snow globe. The wall is impervious to….well everything. Including teleportation and phasing. These powers work within the city but will not take anyone outside of the city.
*Over all the climate is generally middle of the road. Winters have snow, summers are warm but not stifling. However, there are metrological phenomenon. Things happen, like snow in June or snowstorms that bury everything. Earthquakes are not uncommon. Heat waves are even possible.
*The area is populated with things like vampires, demons, hellhounds and other monsters. Nights are particularly dangerous.

The Rules
1. No godmoding. This should be obvious. Talk to a mun before you do anything that will affect their character.

2.There will be a monthly roll call on the ooc community

shakeitup_bitch You must reply to these roll call posts. If you do not you will be kicked out. If for some reason you can not participate for an extended time and need a hiatus, let us know.

3. We're very open to storyline suggestions. If you'd like to suggest something, put it up in the ooc community.

4. Be nice to each other! No drama except the in character kind. This is supposed to be fun for everyone. Please remember that.

5. You are welcome to have as many muses here as you can handle. Try not to overload yourself though because I don't want to have to bug people about participating with muses.

6. Make sure you join the ooc community!!

7. We have muse tags and location tags. Please use them! Tags will be added by the mods as needed.

8. Remember, Shake It Up is a panfandom. You're welcome of course to play with characters from your own fandom but you are expected to play with characters from other fandoms as well. That's part of the fun, experimenting with crossing fandoms and interacting with characters that otherwise your character would never get the opportunity to meet otherwise.

9. We reserve the right to deny access to this panfandom for any reason.

10. No original characters will be accepted with the face of an existing original character in the game. Canon characters are a different story entirely.

11. Think of SIU as a sandbox. You're free to make up a lot and do your own storylines and things like that. The only things that need mod approval are things that will effect the entire city. Of course you'll need mun approval if it affects someone else's character.

12. If you play a character from a cartoon, comic book or video game, you're welcome of course but you will need a real life played by.
