AboutThis community is mainly reserved for devotees of Lord Shiva.
We are open to non-Hindus and non-Shaivites, but please be aware that the main concern of this community is worship of Shiva as Mahadev, the Great God, Brahman Himself. There are plenty of non-specific Hindu communities out there to join, but very few (if any!) devoted to Lord Shiva.
There are two rules:
1) No bashing. This means no insulting other members if and when debates get hot, no bashing of Hinduism, and absolutely no bashing of non-Hindu heterodox religions such as Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikkhism. In the same spirit, please refrain from bashing any religion. Open debate is fine, but please refrain from any insults, rudeness, overgeneralizations, or other oversimplifications. 2) Related to this, please remain respectful to all posters, Hindu or not, heterodox or what have you. Please try to realize the divinity within them, as this itself is communion with Lord Shiva Himself.
Other than that, post whatever you feel moved to post. Discussions of how you worship the Lord, your experiences with Him, and other conversation is greatly encouraged. All yogis are welcome, whether Bhakti, Jnana, Raja, or Karma.
