Sat down to start painting the backgrounds for my flash film.
Poked at one of them half-heartedly for awhile, but then knocked out this instead. I probably won't ever finish it, but something like it will happen eventually. I like Palas.

I think it's a rule that you most want to work on something when you're supposed to be working on something else.

So the best thing about going to an animation school has got to be the mandatory twice a week life drawing. I've got six giant newsprint pads full of drawings, using both sides of the paper. The improvement I've seen in all of us because of it has been huge. We stopped getting life drawing in about August though, when we started our final films. Now that we're done those though.... if I can squeeze in any spare time now, while we're working on learning Flash until December, I'm gonna try and drop in on some of the new classes' life drawing.
I had to scan a few drawings and hand them in for marking, so I figured I'd go ahead and post those here, too.
