Welcome to this very new icontest community: Shade It!. This icon challenge is all about color. Each week, there will be a few challenges based upon pictures, lyrics, colortones, etc. that will hopefully inspire you to make beautiful icons. Much like any other icon challenges, there will be an entering period, a voting period, and and a counting period.

ONE; Icons cannot be posted anywhere besides in entering this challenge. Your icon will be disqualified if it has been posted elsewhere.
TWO; Old icons should not be submitted. This is about what inspires you from the picture or lyrics or whatever. Not what you made two years ago.
THREE; Try to make it fit lj standards (no larger than 100x100, under 40kb). I don't mind too much if it's over 40kb, but at most 100x100.
FOUR; Have fun! You don't have to enter every week at all because sometimes, that can be become a hassle. I hope we can get a lot of entries, but first and foremost is your enjoyment.
