About Us

1. What is SGMALESPREEE?
It is an online shopping spree for Singaporeans mostly on Male Merchandises. Here you can find mostly male apparels, accessories, gadgets, etc..

2. How does it work ?
Discounted / Wholesale / Manufacterer Items are consolidated or capped by sgmalespreee organisers.In this way, shipping costs incurred will be much cheaper and participants may even earn great bargains, since buying items in bulk are normally cheaper.

For Example: Say John wants to buy 2 T-Shirts from American Eagle. Since buying 2 t-shirts will cost him a hefty price in shipping or perhaps American Eagle offers discount on certain amount capped, he can than request to be an organiser in sgmalespreee and post his intentions to share the shipping cost/discounts with other participant who shares John's interest.


3. Who are the ORGANISERS ?
Whoever who wishes organise a spree in sgmalespreee. To be an organiser pls refer to RULES & REGULATIONS

4. How do I start spreeing?
1.) Open a live journal account
2.) Join sgmalespreee community
3.) Comment on intrested posted spree ( See Participant Rules and Regulations )

5.) Is it safe and secure ?
The Sgmalespreee moderators will do our best to ensure that our organisers are legit. Organisers will have a feedback link to ensure his/ her credibility.However we are not deemed responsible once you choose to deal with the organiser. As a participant you can also do your part by crediting / feedback our organisers in order to minimise cheating / dead sprees. ( See Participant Rules and Regulations )

Rules & Regulations

1. General Issues

i ) Members are to observe best behaviour at all times. No vulgaraties, negtive criticism or insults in any fashion watsover are allowed. Anyone caught doing so will be banned / suspended from the community without prejudice. Duration of suspension will depend on the severity of the damage occurred.

ii) Postings in sgmalespreee are moderated.

iii) Do not spam other members in sgsmalespree with any unsolicited emails (ie, anyone who did not join your mailing list) or harass members on chat clients. You will be suspended / banned from the community. If you are a victim of spam email or harassment from other members, please send evidence of the spam email or chat harassment logs to us at sgmalespree@gmail.com .

iv) We reserve the right to change any of these conditions, and to reject any members from joining sgmalespree

2. Organising sprees

1. Male and Female participants can apply as long as the spree comply to the required component.


2. All organisers are required to email a one-time submission of your particulars to sgmalespreee@gmail.com with the following information and format:-

your REAL name/ LJ-name:
your email address that you use to hold sprees:
your WORKING handphone number AND home number:
your bank account number and type that you use to hold sprees:
your REAL address:
your feedback link(s):Provide feedback links from other LJs if you are experienced organisers or else leave it blank and do as stated below before submitting this information.

Take Note Very Important:You MUST to join sgmalefeedback Before applying and submitting your info to be an organiser.

a) Applicants will be notified by their email and they will be listed in the approved organisers page.Pls allow 1 week for us to validate your application. Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential. We will need these information to deter scammers.

b) We reserve the right to reject any members from organising in sgmalespreee.

3. Required Component In Organising A Spree Post - MUST READ FOR ORGANISERS !!!!

a) Please only organise items specific and relevant to sgmalespreee.

b) All sales posts must include your sgmalefeedback URL as well as the number of positive & negative feedback.
For example, If you have 20 positive and 1 negative feedback: SGMSfb [+20/-1]

c) All of your entries are required to have titles pertaining to the spree you are organizing.

d) Only a maximum of ONE picture is allowed outside of the LJ-CUT

e) All pictures outside the LJ-CUT are to be resized to a maximum of 300 x 300

f) STANDARD FORMAT of a spree post for participants to order :-

1. Website You Are Ordering from / If its a supplier or manufacturer spree, just put the brand of the items selling.
2. When you will stop taking orders - by a certain date, OR when a certain order amount has been reached
3.Your email address
4.How spree participants should make payment to you
5.How you will distribute items
6. Exchange rate
7. Shipping details

4. Terms And Conditions Governing A Spree Post - MUST READ FOR ALL ORGANISERS !

a) ALL unregistered spree organisers,will have their entries rejected.

b) ALL spree entries MUST be posted to sgmalespreee. Not at your own LJ

c) No repeat of spree post. Re-post is only allowed after closing / refund / cancelled / completed from previous
post.

d) Transparency in dealings. Transactions or complete payments are to be posted in thread.

e) Email updates of your current sprees in this STANDARD FORMAT-

status of spree: open / closed / cancelled / refundings-in-progress / successful

f) Do not post any spree entries before you have been approved. If you do so we will reject you automatically.

g) ONE spree per entry. DO NOT combine 2 or more sprees into a single entry.

h) Fake luxury / branded goods. Make it clear to the participants that you are posting imitation / non-authentic goods. State clearly if you are unable to ascertain
authenticity. If you are unclear in your description and participants have been misled, you will face a permanent ban. We take this very seriously.

i) Please state your Terms And Conditions in your spree posting. BE SPECIFIC AND CONCISE IN YOUR T&C

j) Test Response is allowed here. Case-to-case Basis

k) Responsiblities of Organisers :-
- Prompt replies and comments
- Regular Updates to participants of items location
- Flexible way of distribution of item
- Be specific in pricing and costs ( including shipping costs, postage, handling fees, etc)

l) Each organiser is allowed only one active spree at a time. Organisers are not to request for more than one spree, if does, the moderator reserve all rights to reject all spree request by the orgniser. They are only allowed to request for another spree when their existing spree is already completed/cancelled.

m) Any organisers who FAIL to observe the followings conditions will be severely dealt with.

5. Participating Sprees - MUST READ FOR ALL MEMBERS !!!!!

1. Everyone are allowed to participate in sgmalespreee. Membership are open. Join now !!

2. Spree Participants are to join sprees at their own discretion

3. Exchange of contact numbers are to be done at the discretion of organisers and paticipants

4. To participate in a spree respond to organisers via Live Journal comment for transperancy sake. NO PRIVATE EMAILS

5. Please find out how reliable an organiser is by checking their feedback link.

6. Double check your comment / order before posting.

7. Do not join a spree that you are not comfortable in.

8. Be nice to organisers. Professionalism

9. Please READ organisers TERMS & CONDITIONS before joining the spree. Any dispute between organisers and participant due to the participant failure in complying with
organisers TERMS & CONDITIONS will be ENTIRELY on participants account.

10. When posting order please follow the standard format given by the organisers ( SEE(f8) of Organising Sprees ).

11. After a successful transaction, please use this template to leave feedback for organisers on their links provided <---This is very important to ensure organiser's credibilty

Sum it up please keep this community an enjoyable shopping experience for all of us by Reading & Obeying the RULES & REGULATIONS. As you guys, we MODS are also working adults who are looking for greater bargains and cheaper shipping cost through this community. Disputes due to Participants and Organiser failing to comply the RULES & REGULATIONS will only cause more administration work for us and the worst part we are not paid or earning from these.
