Trying to Wrap Up Loose Ends

Hey everyone.

Let me start with profuse apologies for not doing this sooner. There was a reason we did the awards when we did - and a lot of it had to do with me being out of school for the summer and having more time. Unfortunately, things fell out the way they did and this is the first chance I've really had to sit and address this properly.

I don't know where

sgatlantislight has gone. I've heard something about her having to replace her computer, but that was a someone told someone told someone she said thing, so ... I had thought at one point when she was online long enough to post pointers to a story she wrote that she'd say something then, but she hasn't and she hasn't contacted me to ask me to step up for her. But as many of you have emailed me to say, this has gone on long enough.

What I will do by the end of today is this:

I will post the list of winners for the f/f and threesome divisions.
I will make a generic winner's banner for each of those division. I apologize for not having time to make individual awards like I did for the m/m division.
I will hand over moderatorship of this community to anyone who'd like to take charge of it for next year.

Once again, I apologize for letting this go so long.

Congrats to the winners and thanks to all who nominated and voted!

These are the awards for the categories that had only one pairing, but no subcategories.
With any luck I'll get the last batch of male/male awards up tomorrow. (I'd love to have this done before I leave the country for a week.)

And also, the Stargate Fan Award nomination letters were sent out recently. Congratulations to all the great authors who we've seen here who have also been nominated over there! I think we could see a real groundswell of support for the 'non mainstream' pairings over there this year.

Voting Announcement

As you can see,

sgatlantislight has started posting the polls for the threesomes and moresomes and the femmeslash divisions.

The male/male categories started going up on June 15th and were completed on two weeks later on June 29th. They can all be found via the links list here.

All male/male division polls will close on July 15th. (at roughly midnight Central time). If you've been waiting for all polls to go live before voting, please vote for the m/m categories now as it's possible that not all of the other divisions' polls will be up before that date. And if they are, you may only have a day or two window in which to get all your votes in for m/m.

Once the m/m polls close,

sgatlantislight will need a few days to deal with any oddities or discrepencies, but we'll formally announce winners as soon as possible.

So far these awards have been able to run on the stated schedule quite well thanks to everyone reading notices like these and taking action on time. Thanks so much!

Whew! All the male/male categories have their polls posted. Finally. Polls for this division will remain open for about two more weeks so everyone can have a chance to vote.

If you've been waiting to vote until everything is posted, please vote for the m/m categories now and then you can do all the multis and f/f polls after Light posts them.
