I tried looking back through the requests, but kept getting distracted by all the pretty, so I'll just have to ask.  

All I really remember is the team taking a puddlejumper to look for some natives in a rainstorm.  John ends up climbing a hill/cliff, finding them in a cave, then carrying an injured kid back down to the 'jumper, which may have been half buried in a mudslide.

Dear Storyfinders,

There are two McShep stories out there, I read them about a month ago, but I don't remember the authors, so I cannot find them again. Please, help!

1.: Au. McKay is taking care of Madison since Jeannie got a job in Kenya, working on a scientific project. Madison is four and she has tantrums, so Rodney has to take her to Teyla's "Discover your Inner Power!" course on Saturdays, where they meet Jona Sheppard. Friendship and love ensues.

2.: The team is on an other (friendly) planet, where McKay accidentally becomes about 20 years younger. The natives assure them that it's temporary, but Rodney is quite suprised because of this whole new world (Atlantis). Based on his sci-fi experiences he keeps asking John if things really happened (will happen) in the "future": (two funny things I remember:)

- are the marines cyborgically enhanced?

and a discussion (it went something like that):

Rodney: - Has the countries of the Earth already became united under one government just like in Star Trek?
John: - It's 2008.
Rodney: - So?
John: - So no.

I hope someone recognizes them, and knows the route!

 It was just posted in the last 3-4 months.  John keeps getting sick every time the Stargate goes off.  So he is sent back to earth and is posted to Afghanistan again.

Okay, everybody! I have faith in you. I know you can do this. You are awesome and fantastic and I have complete confidence in your story-finding abilities.

SO.

Ego-stroking time done! Here's the fic I'm looking for.

The fic revolves around the lifting of DADT, and it's told in a sort of non-linear style. It starts in the present, with John finding out about the change in regs, but then it flashes back periodically to important points in John and Rodney's relationship. In the present, after they find out about the lifting of the regs, John and Rodney's relationship becomes much closer and more intimate then it had been in the past (as shown in the flashbacks). John and Rodney go to Elizabeth to become each other's beneficiaries, etc., and Rodney notes that they're one piece of paper away from marriage, which causes John to freak out a little. I remember a lot of little things, like Caldwell giving John a bottle of Gray Goose, and the scientists wearing rainbow jewellery, and Rodney chewing out the entire mess hall and telling people that if they were going to hate somebody, they should hate the Wraith.

Again, I have total confidence in you all! Aaaaaaaaand~ GO!

Someone does a sneaky and Rodney becomes addicted to a certain kind of flower and has to drink a tea made from the flower. And John has to be the one to give it to him. As a side note, Teyla's father did the same thing to her mother in order to keep Teyla's mom with him.

I am looking for a fic I havent read in months. After being offline for 9 months, I cant seem to remember where some fics are. I am hoping you guys can help.

In this story, John was held hostage by Koyla and Weir wont do an exchange. So Rodney and Lorne take over Atlantis from Weir and tells Koyla that he will exchange John for Weir. But he doesnt really. I remember a scene when John found out what happened, left the infirmary and was really mad at Weir. Does anyone remember this story?

Subject:	McKay/Brown turning into McKay/Sheppard

The story I'm looking for is set in the beginning of season 4 - when Carter is still new in command. It's a welcome day off - a sunday, and Carter and Sheppard is sitting somewhere and are watching McKay and Katie Brown using roller skates/blades. Katie is leaving on the Daedalus so Sheppard is thinking McKay will be available soon. Carter is just perplexed that someone chose to be with McKay in the first place.

Teyla's people are quarantined for their safety, and John begins a Romeo-and-Juliet-balcony courtship with Teyla through the window of the isolation chamber.
More happens that would be spoilery to reveal, but I do recall Teyla saying to John...

The previous post reminded me of another Mcshep post-Trinity fic where John gets anonymous porn from someone and wants to meet them. They will only agree if John will be blindfolded. Of course it turns out to be Rodney who doesn't want to reveal himself because he doesn't want John to think he's doing this for the wrong reasons. I think I've got that plot summary reasonably right, anyway I'm sure you folks will be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance

Search the first: there's a fic where Rodney angers some scientist, so to teach him a lesson, the scientist sprinkles lemon juice over Rodney's food. 

Search the second:  after "Trinity", John's giving Rodney the cold shoulder and all of Atlantis follows his example.  Rodney stops eating, but someone starts leaving food in his room.

1. In this fic, Rodney gets the team home, but he's injured and doesn't know it. Noo one notices Rodney is sitll standing there in frotn of the Gate in shock untili the immediate crisis is over. I know there is a similar scene in Scenes from an Unseen Life by Delilah but that's not the fic I'm thinking of. This has Rodney in shock in the Gateroom. Maybe John is the only one of the team seriously injured. It might be that Rodney won't let go. And I'm thinking Rodney is in worse shape than anyone else.

 2. John winds up sitting on the floor outside the infifmary. He's in shock, exhausted, cold, but hasn't asked for help because everyone is too busy with the other medical emergencies. Carson finds him on the floor, near collapse.
