Like I mentioned previously I'm on a new machine now - well, another machine, but an older one, not new. I was using files previously recorded (if edited in haste) until today, but the file for this story was so bad I really had to record it again tonight. Unfortunately, there is a tiny high whistling sound on this machine. :/ I am using the same mike, so it must be an issue withing the connectors somewhere. I tried to filter it out but it had even more disastrous results, so I left it as is.
Sorry for posting so late!

Yeah, the whistle on this one was a problem. The story was sufficiently smoking hot that I listened anyway!! It seems like the whistle was a pretty small frequency range - you couldn't edit it out without messing up the vocals? I'm no editing guru (I have [info]podfic_tips for that ;)) but it seems like it should be possible.

Either way, thanks for yet another recording ... and, see, I'm getting better with my Thank Yous! Perhaps you'll train me into being a polite commenter yet? ;)
