Find SGA Stories in a Specific Genre

I'm looking for any stories where someone who knows nothing about Rodney recognises that he is a combat veteran. The closest I've found is synecdochic's Freedom's Just Another Word for Nothing Left to Lose

I am looking for Rodney fic. Where some one endangers his team mates, his geeks or Atlantis and Rodney shows his dark ruthless side to eater protect them or to deal out some pay back.

I have two Christmas-fic requests:

First, I've noticed there are a lot of stories where Rodney is a Grinch and other characters work to get him into the Holiday Spirit. Are there any that are the other way around? Ideally, I'd like something where Rodney is really into Christmas--maybe even to a degree that the others find weird or annoying? (Here I'm asking both because I'd like to read stories like that, and to find out if it's already been done before I start doing it.)

Second request, I'm working my way through the "holiday" tag--naturally, all of the Christmas requests there date from around this time last year. Are there any Christmas (or other winter holiday)-themed stories too new to be found there?

I've a craving for winter sports stories, particularly skiing and ski jumping. I was just watching the jumping on Eurosport and thought 'that's what John would be doing'.

I've just re-read 'He's having her baby' by glitterati (here) and am wondering if there are any more fics like this - but with a more serious tone.

I'm looking for fics where someone (preferably Rodney, but really anyone will do) gets pregnant and then for some reason or another loses the baby. Perhaps they're told they're pregnant and get all excited about it only to find out later that it's not true.

Proper tear-jerkers would be perfect.

At the beginning of The Game, when Rodney is asking about the train and who to save, John is eating an orange. Are there any McShep fics that focus around that scene? I'm looking for fics where Rodney later confronts John, is afraid to kiss him afterwards, etc.

I would love to see Rodney riding. And I do not mean flailing about screaming. I mean something like he and John galloping across a plain, riding next to one another, possibly with leather armor and great big... swords. with an army of leather clad warriors behind them. If the animal is not necessarily a horse (like the Pegasus equivalent of a horse), Ill read that as well. Mcshep is preferred, but Ill read anything with Rodney on a horse. If it goes well with Viking folk metal, Ill love it. Thank You very much.

I recently watched the Goodbye Atlantis video, and after seeing that hug I'd really like to read some Joe/David fic. I've already read Lily's fic at www.improvidence.net, so I'm looking for any other recs or rec lists ;)

Does anyone know of any stories where a female character engages in anal sex (rimming and fingering counts too)? I'm interested in everything from quick and dirty PWPs to novel-length stories. Just no non-con please. And no humiliation (meaning no "I'll show the bitch who's in charge" scenarios) unless it's part of a role-play scenario that both parties have consented to.

Hi, this is quite a specific request.

Are there any stories which have people understanding the fear that McKay lives with. Not just knowing he's afraid but experiencing it for themselves because of an Ancient device (or similar) and knowing all the possible ways that things could go wrong as he thinks of them. I have this snapshot in my head of people all over Atlantis being paralysed by it and Rodney just going on business as usual.

Alternatively, any stories where something is projecting fear and McKay can ignore it.

I'm looking for stories where John and Rodney come up with a... unique solution to a seemingly unsolvable problem - think "let's drag a meteorite closer" (SGA 3x20) sorta thingy - a solution that seems completely nuts but it saves the day of course. Stories where John's quick and flexible thinking is what makes him the perfect military commander - unlike the rigid Caldwell or any other by-the-rules military officer.

I'm looking for two different kinds of fics.

1) The sappiest, fluffiest, most romantic McShep fics you can find.

2) Marriage of convenience fics, where a couple (any couple) has to get married for political or financial reasons, and then finds out that they're really in love.

Does anyone know of any fics where Rodney is a size queen or John just thinks he is and Sheppard becomes jealous/ self conscious/insecure because of that? McShep is my default setting so that is prefered but any others would also be appreciated.

Two requests:

Stories where people take teasing McKay too far or it feels personal/like bullying to him, rather than friendly or where people disregard/don't recognise his feelings.

Stories that deal with McKay (not) using Sheppard's first name, either questions and explanations or Sheppard noticing/being hurt or it being meaningful when he does use it.

Okay, so weirdly specific but I swear it's a trope:

John and Rodney have the sexyteims, usually in some some sort of extreme or relieved situation. Then afterwards there is unease; who will speak first? What will they say? Surely it meant nothing, no really. So one of them dismisses it, and the other goes along with it, and then later later later there is some other extreme sort of situation in which it is revealed that HI THEY HAVE BEEN IN LOVE ALL THIS TIME! OMG!

The example I'm reading this time is The Price That Life Exacts but I would be so grateful for more. AU or not, McShep please.

I just re-read obsessed1's fic, Blame and loved it as much as I did the first time. It's put me in the mood to find more fics where John blames himself to the point of emotional hurt when things go wrong. Bonus if it eventually results in physical whump before the team notices how badly he's handling things.
