I'm looking for a very touching story about John and Rodney that followed their relationship through college and into John's military career and Rodney's doctorate. When John's helicopter goes down he is left paralyzed from the waist down, He and Rodney must learn to live with John's disability.
Other clues:
-John was in the ROTC when they met... it's also not his first tour when the helicopter goes down.
-They both become professors.
-Cadman is a neighbor.
-John refuses Rodney's marriage proposal, because of his injury. (Though, eventually ha agrees. Rodney proposes in the cafeteria where they first met.)
-John is stationed at a hospital in Germany after his accident. Rodney flies over.

Hi! I'm looking for a christmas oriented McShep fic that involved McKay inheriting his grandfather's estate, Ronon is his butler, and Sheppard is the crazy neighbor. I think he gets Sheppard a gun for christmas? And Teyla is also his neighbor.

I remember in the beginning of the story, Rodney chews Kavanaugh out for something. I'm pretty sure Rodney was sticking up for Miko, hence the chewing out.
I also remember Rodney fixing something, and Kavanaugh locks him in there. Rodney is reluctant to say who it was, even though everyone knows. In fact, Rodney doesn't say who it was until the end, I think.
I tried googling this, but with all this post-bronchitis induced coughing not to mention an ear infection, I gave up.

Ok, I've been digging through Area 51 and Wraithbait archives all day with no luck. I am looking for a McShep story called The Incredible (Amazing??) Dr. McKay in which Rodney is kidnapped and his death faked by some natives. He's taken half way across the continent and made to work for them fixing ancient gadgets. He excapes and has to make his way back to the stargate trading favors with towns people for shelter and food. If you have seen this fic please let me know.

Looking for McShep fics with a kitty or kitty type creature. I was reading "The Trouble with Tribbles" by MrsHamill (http://www.hawksong.com/~thammill/SGA_Fic/tribbles.htm if your interested and I recalled a fic where Rodney and John go serching for a ZPM on a planet where the natives eat these kitty-like creatures. Rodney sees a kid chewing on the tail of one and is appropriately traumatized. So I'm looking for that fic specifically and kitty fics in general. Please point the way all knowing McShep gods!

Okay, so my friend sent me a link on my phone to read. Now the story is stuck in my head and I have no idea where to find it.
Summary: John and Rodney are back on Earth for a two week leave or something, and John keeps running into doors and tripping over nothing because he's not used to things not responding to his thoughts, since he's not on Atlantis any more. Anyway, when ever they go to the ER, the doctor thinks McKay is abusing John and he keeps trying to give John the talk that "Help is there for him, he's not alone,"

I'm looking for an SGA fic where Rodney smokes.
The most prominent scene I remember is Rodney beginning to light up a cigarette and John coming upon him to see and asking if he smokes and in answer Rodney puts the cigarette in his mouth and lights it before inhaling and turning to John. As if his actions didn't answer the question already.

Rodney is found wandering with no memory. John is his friend and helps look after him. He never regains his memory and becomes a composer/musician instead of a physicist

And no its not "Sentient" or "Loving Rodney", but it was similar

Im also looking for fic where earth screws up and atlantis become independent - i now have forgotten the name, by lady something (if you can get me the name again it would be appriciated) and if can tell me any stories thats similar would be nice aswell.
Also where the main team dissagrees with the leadership in Atlantis and leaves and finds another city.i have read "Seven walls" series. So i really would like to read more on that

As above - I lost the link to a fic I read a couple of months ago which I really liked. Here's the lowdown
- It's set during The Return when the team are back on Earth
- It's Rodney centric but also features John
- It has descriptions of Rodney's home and the gear he has now that he's back on Earth
- He gets drugged and kidnapped from his home by a jealous scientist from Area 51
- He then gets tied up, locked in the boot of a car and left to die

Hello! I'm sort of a way-late-entrance fan of the show, so any help would be much appreciated!
I'm trying to find fics (preferably Sheppard/McKay, pairing or friendship) wherein military personnel new to Atlantis either underestimate the value of or are derogatory towards Rodney (or the science personnel in general), the team's reaction to the mistreatment, Sheppard setting them straight... anything in that vein. Ring any bells?

I was wondering if there were any serious fics centred around Becket, preferably slash, even better if it was Ronon/Carson, with deep character development. Two thing I would be most happy to read about are:

2) clone!Becket dealing with his 'new life' and some other problems, maybe including love life

Hello,
I'm slaving away in he kitchen today cooking Thanksgiving dinner for my family (they don't like to cook so I get to do it :p)
I am really hoping that you can help me find some fics so that I can read them between getting things ready here.
There's a story where John and his team are on a planet with an Ancient building. The building has a weapons system that Sheppard connects to and while they are there the wraith attack. Sheppard zones out and connects with the weapon and destroys all the wraith darts. I remember him saying "target destroyed, acquiring new target" over and over again. The team brings Becket in to take care of Sheppard while he's destroying wraith. I remember at one point both John and Carson are zoned out and John is sitting in some kind of control chair while Carson is working at the controls. John is speaking Ancient and Carson can understand him but is speaking English. Rodney walks in on it and goes to get "someone" to help. It turns out that John and Carson fixed the weapon to work automatically so they wouldn't have to be there for it to work. As a thank you, one of the elder women in the village gives John a colourful blanket.
Now this blanket is in a few other stories as well. In one story Rodney tells Jeannie that John has a security blanket. In another story John is acting weird again and is sitting out on a deserted balcony in an uninhabited part of the city wrapped up in his blanket ....he falls asleep or something...anyway, Rodney finds him and pulls him off the balcony and goes back for Johns blanket just before the balcony falls apart and lands in the ocean.
Does anyone know these stories? I've been looking for them for a while now but I can't remember who wrote them, if they were written by the same author or not, or what the stories are called. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
