Plot idea: I'm not a fan of crossovers. I tend to have a hard time swallowing them (not counting SG-1 and SGA of course :D) and so refuse to write them. On the other hand, they do have great outsider POV potential. Sheppard's on earth either in a mental hospital or regular hospital. He's been injured, maybe even drugged, and is so out of it he won't even give anyone his name. How he was injured I'll leave up to the writer, but I'd prefer something along the lines of him being captured or attacked, not hit by a car. The person handling his case - whether a doctor or investigator, has to sift through Sheppard's ramblings in order to find out anything about him. This person start's off either disliking Shep or thinking him some kind of lunatic - basically, is negative toward Shep in some way. But the more they hear and get to know Sheppard, the more they come to respect him/more they want to help him and-or keep him safe/more they wish at least some of his ramblings are true (I'll it up to the writer).
Genre: Hurt/comfort, angst. Humor's okay as long as there's at least a little bit of angst involved.
Don’t want: humiliation, gut wounds, the story strictly comedy
Definitely want: hurt/comfort, John talking about his team
Anything else: I would like the crossover to be with an investigative-type show. Ex: NCIS, CSI, Bones, Numbers, etc.

That's right - this here uber Shep fan has an idea for a McKay centric fic, so all you McKay fans/writers listen up.

Plot idea: I was watching... some SGA episode (can't remember which) and it hit me "Wow, McKay's really become quite the little genius Rambo over the years." Mainly in his use of the P-90 and 9 mil but who's to say he hasn't developed a taste for using C-4 ;) Anywho, the idea is this - McKay is among fellow geniuses on earth - maybe at a symposium or something else. These are geniuses he either knows personally or happens to be familiar with (maybe some of them work for the Stargate program, all of them do, or they are about to be recruited), and they don't think much of him, and especially dislike the fact that he's friends with John (maybe Lorne can be there too) and/or that he spends so much time off-world, shooting guns, putting himself in danger, etc. Then, something happens - I'll leave that up to whoever writes this - and McKay has to use that military experience to save them all.
Genre: Action/adventure, Friendship, maybe some H/C, maybe some humor or could be angsty.
Don’t want: Gut wounds. Sheppard made out as a wuss or made fun of because McKay saved the day and he didn't.
Definitely want: McKay channeling Sheppard and showing some military expertise. Friendship/concern between the two.
Anything Else: Being the uber Shep-fan I am, I'd love it if he was whumped. Maybe at the start of the conflict, or maybe during it, thus forcing McKay to take over. Maybe even injured and captured but not a must.

I have an idea for a Shep whump story that I would love for someone to write. It would take place after the episode "Ghost in the Machine" and would deal with issues that took place in that episode. My idea does contain spoilers for the episode so if you have not seen it you might not want to take a look... :)

Following on the Rodney!Whump theme, I'm looking for stories where Rodney gets picked on by Marines and Shep has to step in and do something about it.

I'm in a mood, and I feel the mood will be assuaged with new McKay centric h/c. (At least I hope it will, because chocolate isn't working.) So, I'm asking... begging, really.... for:

Maximum word length: As long as you want

Character: McKay centric, with any or all members of the team

Plot idea: Good old fashioned McKay h/c. Any season, any reason (illness, injury, etc), any or all team members providing the c. 

Genre: h/c, friendship 

Don’t want: An unhappy or unresolved ending. Preferably no AUs, but I'm not adamant.

Definitely want: McKay. H/C. (Um, yeah, I'm sure that's obvious by now)

Plot idea: I've been in the biggest angst mood and it's been provoking me to think up fic so emotionally heavy that the ideas I have for the endings always involve Sheppard weeping. And let me tell you, it's not easy. That man is stubborn. So, don't think of this so much as a request but more as a challenge, and that's to write something that involves Sheppard breaking down into tears.It can be all out sobbing, maybe silent weeping with only a tear or two to show for it, whatever works. He just has to end up in tears.
Genre: Any except humor.
Don’t want: As usual - gut wounds! Or leg or head wounds. Leg and head wounds I just feel tend to get overused as a form of whump, sometimes (but I suppose the same could be said of a lot of wounds). The situation to be humorous - no "Carson gets his revenge and gets to see John cry! Sheppard made fun of for crying.
Definitely want: The situation to be serious.Sheppard whump (not a must but much preferred). The team comforting/looking after Sheppard.

Plot idea: In response to the sad news that Don S Davis passed away on 29th June, I was wondering if some people would be willing to write some SGA stories that involve General Hammond? You may use whichever SGA characters you wish, and feel free to bring in SG1 characters as well if it fits your plot. You could play with the pseudo-Hammond from Home, bring in the real one (which might be harder, considering that he isn’t in charge of the SGC during Atlantis, but doable), do an AU, do something pre-Atlantis with McKay or Lorne etc... Just remember that this is a SGA request site, not a SG1 one!
Genre: Any and all.
Don’t want: So long as it is Gen, I’m not going to put any restrictions on what you want to write.
Definitely want: Hammond and one/some SGA characters.

Plot idea: When re-watching "Reunion" (3x03) I came to the scene where Carter is trying to convince Ronon not to go. He asks her whether they will try to stop him, given all he knows about Atlantis, and she says she hopes it won't come to that. I am wondering if anyone would be interested in writing a story showing the alternate path from that point - that it did come to that, they did have to keep him from going, and what happened with all concerned?

Plot idea: A tag to Trinity in which Rodney comes to realize/understand why he must earn Sheppard's trust back. I've read a ton of stories that look at Rodney's side of things, stories where both boys come to a realization about being in the wrong, but none that look at Sheppard's side of things.
Don’t want: Sheppard being portrayed as in the wrong and a jerk for making McKay earn his trust back. Smug and/or whumped McKay. A quick fix ending that has Sheppard immediately trusting McKay again and/or sorry he'd ever doubted McKay (Although if you want to make it about how Rodney earns or starts to earn Sheppard's trust back, that's fine. Again, just please nothing that involves Sheppard being sorry for having forced Rodney to earn his trust back.)
Definitely want: Exploration into Sheppard's trust issues. Sheppard's trust issues being legit, serious even, and not something he needs to "learn to just get over, already."
Anything else: Whump, if possible, but not a must. Another "Don't want" is a reverse of most Trinity fic, making John the "poor woobie" character and McKay the heartless jerk. I think Rodney has learned his lesson and would want to earn John's trust back. While John wouldn't have developed his trust issues from a single event but several events that have made him reluctant to trust, yet wanting to learn to trust again. I felt Trinity provided an excellent Sheppard character-study opportunity, and I'd like to see it used.

Plot idea: Okay, this came about due to this thread on wraithfodder's LJ (starts with my second comment - what can I say? I'm cracked!). If you like reality shows, be warned that we don't, sorry!
Basically - some sort of reality show with Rodney, Radek, and maybe Kavanagh to add some comflict, as the judges, and the competitors are trying to get a place on Atlantis! Yeah, read the comments...and then add your own ideas! You could have more than one show, ie a military version with John, Lorne and Caldwell perhaps as judges...basically, wherever your imagination takes you!
Genre: Crack!Fic, humour, AU!
Don’t want: Anything too serious!
Definitely want: To see Rodney's comments to the competitors... *snerk*
