SGA Gen Media and Fanfic Request

Minimum word length: None, but something around 400 plus would be good.

Character(s): Rodney McKay, Daniel Jackson, other (see notes).

Plot idea: Missing scene(s) and/or tag for The Lost Tribe (Season 5). Daniel’s POV for some or all of it. In the end scene, Daniel says ‘…not that I don’t appreciate all the visits…’ which means Rodney’s been down there a few times (!). I want Daniel’s view of it, perhaps irritation, perhaps amusement, whatever you feel fits with the way they’ve been in the episode. Then either a) one of the SGA characters lets Daniel know that the visits are due to Rodney feeling guilty that Daniel got hurt or b) he works it out himself. Need him to say/do something about it (perhaps tie into the end scene somehow), but staying within canon for both characters.

Genre: Missing scene/tag. Some angst, some banter/humour.
Don’t want: Smarm or out-out-character reactions/conversations. Daniel to be nasty or horrible (I genuinely think he finds McKay amusing rather than vexing, and enjoys their back and forth). McKay being too open (after all, this isn’t a team member or a close friend). Nothing too heavy. Anything that might squick.
Definitely want: Rodney feeling guilty. Daniel coming to understand that is why Rodney keeps visiting him. Some sort of conversation about this. Some lightness (something to leave me feeling happy and/or content – like the last bit of the end when Daniel gives Rodney his food!).
Anything else: Exploring the friendship/rivalry between them would be an added bonus. Bonding over a joint love of coffee would be wonderful (and possibly hilarious!) and I’d love you forever if you could work that in!

Plot idea: Rodney sticks up for John, verbally or through actions.
Genre: friendship, angst. Light humor okay.
Don’t want: Though it can include Rodney rescuing an injured John, I don't want that to be the soul means by which Rodney sticks up for him. Heavy humor. Rodney being overly insulting to John. John being a jerk, seeing Rodney defend him therefore mending his ways. Rodney whump.
Definitely want: Obviously Rodney sticking up for John - verbally or through actions other than saving his life - and John witnessing it or finding out about it. Rodney showing that he has a lot of respect for John, considers him a good friend, etc.
Anything else: How Rodney sticks up for John I'll leave up to the writer. He could defend him against Caldwell or some other higher up, new marines, a bunch of villagers, a bunch of scientists poking fun at John's intelligence, John's brother, etc. As already mentioned, it can involve actions or be verbal, as long as it's not just another "saving each other's lives" story, which I do love but it's not what I'm asking for. H/C would be nice but not a must.

Plot idea: Sheppard is always taking Rodney's berating and insults in stride. What I would like to read is something where Rodney says something, or even does something, that John is unable to tolerate, or that does end up insulting him in some way.
Genre: Friendship, H/C
Don’t want: Humor, reconciliation only for the story to end with Rodney insulting John, even if it's their usual banter. Everyone hating on Rodney because he made John cry, so to speak: this should be between them, with maybe Teyla, Ronon or someone else offering advice. Anything anti-McKay (Ex. They should have seen this coming, because Rodney is a jerk on a regular bases... etc.)
Definitely want: The source of the insult either Rodney being deliberately cruel for a reason or an accident. Reconciliation. Rodney, and therefor the reader, coming to learn something about John we didn't know before - maybe something about him as a person, maybe something about his past (not a must but it would really be nice). Physical whump would be nice but, again, not a must.

Plot idea: John experiences a traumatic event, but the team's attempts to help him backfire.

Don’t want: Gut wounds, Sheppard treated like an idiot/child, quick/simple fixes (Ex. berating John until he's all better), anyone other than Sheppard being whumped.
Definitely want: Friendship, a nice Rodney, the traumatic experience can be mental or physical but I would really like to "see" how it's affecting John, both mentally and physcially (poor eating, poor sleep, temper issues, etc.)
Anything else: I don't mind Sheppard being stubborn - because is is ;) - but, please, be logical about it. Sheppard refusing to see a shrink - okay. Sheppard refusing to see a doctor over a mild headache and because he doesn't want to deal with people - okay. Sheppard refusing to see a doctor even though he's in terrible pain and bleeding out - not okay.

I know, It's late but as I've only just learned about this community, I hope I'm forgiven. Also, late is better than never :)))

Plot idea: This would be a birthday fic, but... It's on Saturday. Ieeks!  So here goes:  John, a bottle of something hard, darkness, anger and sorrow. I wanto to see a mean drunk!john, and the rest of the team trying to be friends. Failing, bcoming targets, succeeding, ending up leaving him alone to sober up... whatever works for you.The reason for all this is also up to you and it may be stated or not. Of course, things have to be all right or on their way at the end. Sick drunk is much appreciated, graphic is fine. It can be on Earth after the Finale or not, I don't mind.

Genre: H/C, friendship, darkfic, dark side.

Do's: Drunk John, darkness. Spellcheck, Beta.
Don't: No AU, Little or no Keller.

Character(s): The Trust, members of SG-1, Shep's team, emphasis on John and Teyla; family members, other expedition members may make appearances, and OC's may be introduced but don't tell the story primarily from the OC's POV. Keller okay, as long as Carson is there as well, yeah definitely Carson..

Plot Idea:  The team comes to the Milky Way to attend a private and secret awards ceremony for their work in and for Atlantis. While at the White House John is asked to demonstrate his ability to operate Ancient tech. During the demonstration his abilities go awry and parts of the building react adversely to the ATA gene. This reaction puts the President and his cabinet in danger. Although the danger is minimal the Trust uses this incident to turn the government against the Atlantis project and John Sheppard, in particular. Rodney attempts to figure out who or what about the White House could have caused the problem as the 'fantastic four' try to make their way back to SG-1 and the stargate. Teyla and Ronon, now out of their element struggle to get John back 'home', but none of them know who they can trust or how they were set up. The confusion of this world leads them on an adventure that takes them through Europe and the States hoping to find answers and help at each step of their arduous and whump filled adventure .  
 
Genre: gen, angst, hurt/comfort, team, friendship, some humor (to give me a chance to breathe)

Don't want: deathfic; use of Asgard tech (too easy to get out of situations and places);  

Definitely want: The team traveling from Pegasus to Milky Way and back again;  crisscrossing America and Europe;  While in the Milky Way their traveling must be done ONLY by public transportation as they attempt to evade the baddies and get to places of safety. A.C.T.I.O.N.,  whump, and infirmary/hospital scenes for everyone, but of course John's must be worst than anyone else's because, well just because....

Other notes: My b-day is April 9, I would love to have it by then but I understand that muses and Real Life don't  always work according to a shedule.  

Please could someone write a fic(s) where John has to be totally cared for by his team? Total care meaning, he is unable to feed himself, move around by himself, take care of his hygiene, handle his affairs, etc. I am not interested in baby, kid, or death fics. The focus is on the team caring for an adult John's needs and how he learns to accept their help. Thank you very, very much!!

Plot idea: What if, Sheppard got killed, and died in Rodney's arms, surrounded by his team. (What if it wasn't really Sheppard?) I can see Rodney changing big time. His sarcastic manner would be toned way down. He would take charge of the team, and lead the team. It's almost like he's become Sheppard, but he really hasn't. He's changed so much that it scares others. He's still snarky when it comes to science, but he's more ballsy, like Sheppard. He's even learned how to fight hand to hand, and he's deadly with the weapons. He's learned from Teyla, the Banto rods. He's more physically fit, and if it's possible, he's become an excellent military strategist. This can even be an alternate universe story too. Like I said, just an idea, and there are some wonderful writters out there. Also, I love to see Kolya in the pic too. I think that Mckay would have no problem in killing him. Kolya doesn't like the way he's changed, and now knows, he can not defeat Mckay. Just an idea.
Genre: Can be AU. Angst, Action/Adventure, Hurt/Comfort and team.
Episode tag: does not really matter.
Anything else: whatever the author decides. I just do not have time to write. I think that's it.

Plot idea: There's been a ton of stories done that have involved local customs, and either the team insulting those customs and paying for it, or having to put up with some really ridiculous, pointless or embarrassing rituals. What I'd like is a story that deals with the team having to put up with a custom that actually insult them in some way, and it turn they refuse to have anything to do with it, thus sparking conflict (either with the locals or Woosely/Carter/Elizabeth).
Genre: H/C, friendship, angst or humor
Don’t want: humiliation for the sake of humor: I've never been a fan of humor/humiliation fic. The team's refusal ending them being tortured or being chased. The team's reasons for not participating in the ritual made out to seem narrow-minded or "stupid."
Definitely want: The ritual/custom to be something that the team - or more speicifically the Earth people - just can't participate in/agree with. It can be for personal reasons, or something more broad (religious beliefs, for example.)
Anything else: Humiliation for the sake of angst is fine, though. As is the team being taken prisoner. Basically what I want is a story that explores what would happen if the expedition came upon a culture with practices that either everyone from Earth or just those with specific beliefs/upbringings could not condone. The conesequences can involve whump, but I want the focus to be on an exploration of knowing when to draw the line when it comes to odd rituals and customs. Also something to consider is Teyla and Ronon being okay with the rituals/customs but not able to understand why John, Rodney or whoever isn't (not a must, though. Just an idea of what could be included).

Plot idea: John gets turned into a kid in any way you want and has no memory of Atlantis. Rodney, Ronon and anyone else are all awkward around him. Teyla starts looking after the little energizer bunny that he is and they become really close until he is turned back in any way you want.

Don’t want: Character bashing, John being a quiet, shy child
Definitely want: John being energetic and childish, because I don't think John would have been shy and hidden away.  I really want Teyla absolutely adoring him and John loving Teyla like a mum and adoring her. Set in season 5 so little Torren has been born and we can see how Kiddie John acts around baby TJ.
Anything else: I don't mind if you show at the beginning or in a flash back how he changed to a kid, and I don't mind if you don't at all. Those who know me know I don't like Kanaan.  I would also love to see how Woolsey and Caldwell act around Shep but i don't mind if you skip them out too.

Plot idea: Something happens to Sheppard in which he developes a severe aversion to touch, freaks when he's crowded, and can barely handle it when even one person gets to close.
Genre: Angst, H/C, friendship, drama, can have a little humor but I would like it to ulitmately lead to angst.
Don’t want: gut wounds, concussions, John forced to open up, dumb/oblivious Sheppard, a quick-fix.
Definitely want: friendship, team comfort, the team coming up with ways to help Sheppard to overcome his trauama but, please, keep it clean.
Anything else: this can be an aftermath fic or you can write about how the trauma occurred, but the aftermath and how they help Sheppard to overcome the problem must be included. Bonus points for physical injuries as well, but not a must.

Would love to read a Gen or Het story where Sheppard is blind because of his ATA gene or because he took the fall for his team.  Say a punishment for something the team did but didn't know was illegal.  I'd even go for the blindness to be day blindness where he couldn't see in the light and could only see faint images in the dark.  I'd love for it to be a long fic with lots of angst and drama.  If anybody is interested I'd sure appreciate the story.  Thanks as always, Nicole.

Plot idea: Something bad happens to McKay that causes Ronon to hug him (you know, like he did in Tao of Rodney *snerk*) but it's either on Earth or SG1 are on Atlantis and it occurs in front of some/all of the team (Carter, Jackson, Mitchell are a must). Yes, it's an evil idea, poor embarrassed Rodney! *mega-smirk*
Genre: Anything so long as it's not too humorous or cracked (light-hearted is fibe). In other words, not a comedy or parody but a story that contains some humour within it.
Don’t want: Non-con. Anything really dark. Supernatural horror. Sad ending. AU (unless it is only slightly AU). Mega or non-canon-like smarm. Nakedness. Something really cringingly humiliating - the hug is as far as I want Rodney's embarrassment to go!
Definitely want: Ronon hugging Rodney aka Tao of Rodney style but in front of some/all of SG1! Reactions please!!
Anything else: Angst is welcome. Well-written whumpage too. Action and/or Hurt/Comfort also welcome - but nothing too smarmy please! Keep it as in line with canon as possible!

I can't get the idea out of my head, even though no scenes wish to show themselves and therefore I can't write it myself!
