THE Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is seeking the public's help in naming Marina Bay's new landmark Bridge and Art Park.
The Bridge, which will link the Bayfront area to Marina Centre, has two components. The pedestrian component is proposed to be called 'The Double Helix' or 'The DNA Bridge', while its vehicular component's suggested name is 'Bayfront Bridge'.
The Art Park, which will feature art works by Singapore youths and is located at the northern end of the bridge, is proposed to be named 'ImagiNation Park'.
Members of the public are invited to submit their views on these names, and suggest other names, on the Marina Bay website (www.marina-bay.sg).
The URA is accepting feedback from now till Dec 14.
Construction of the new Bridge and Art Park is due to be completed by the end of next year.

Remember the renaming exercise of Marina Bay that costs S$400,000 to be finally renamed to - Marina Bay (http://www.singapore-window.org/sw05/05
Why don't URA just call it Marina Bay Bridge and Marina Bay Art Park. Save a lot of trouble, money and grief.
