Smallville: Absolute Justice - according to EW.

The new date for the movie is indeed February 5, 2010, so update your calendars. :)

You've got to visit Huffington Post for two exclusive images of Michael Shanks as Jimmy in his Sanctuary episode "Penance".

Also, it's a wonderful interview with Amanda Tapping, but be aware that there are some spoilers about her show there.

Entertainment Weekly has posted the exclusive that the Justice Society themed episodes are now being touted as a TV-Movie special event rather than the two part episodes previously scheduled.

This movie is of particular interest to SG-1 fans because so many alumni are in the episode: Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), Brent Staite (Louis Ferretti) and Britt Irvin (Merrin) all star in the episode.

The purported air date for this "movie event" is January 29.

What are you views of having Jack O'Neill as a recurring character in Stargate Universe?

Robert Carlyle said this in an interview: "You dont have to know anything at all. Of course Universe wouldn't be here without SG-1 and Atlantis. But there's no link to those shows really. Having said that, of course Richard Dean Anderson, who is the main guy from SG-1, does appear. But he's kind of a peripheral character in this. He's not really in the forefront and I thought that was really brave of the guy to do."

To new viewers, Jack's a peripheral character -- the head general of Homeworld Command -- but to older fans, he's THE MAN, he's our Jack from SG-1 days gone by.

• Joe Mallozzi "ranted" about the increased negativity and trollish behavior of some people on the internet concerning SGU's characters and their actors.


• SGU's "Air"'s novelization is coming out this month. Check out this interview with the author, James Swallow. Interesting quote: “It’s fascinating to see how scenes were actually shot compared to how I had visualised them. I guess in a way, the novelisation is the way I would have ‘directed’ it. There’s not a lot of differences between the two on a gross level, but on a smaller scale there are variations - for example, Air has a lot of quick, choppy flashbacks in it, and while that works well on TV, it’s not so good for a novel, so I wrote a strictly chronological version of the events. There’s also a couple of scenes that were moved to later episodes of the TV show that appear in the novel, and some that were scripted and shot but cut for time.” He admits that there are “some things I would have written differently if I had seen the episodes first, but I kinda like the fact that the book and screen versions don’t exactly marry up - it means that fans who watch the show and then read the novel get to experience two versions of the same narrative.”
