Stargate SG-1 participants are invited and welcome, and there's usually a strong Stargate turn-out. | Fic Finishing LJ Community |

Is there a partially written story sitting on your hard drive that refuses to be finished?
Starting new stories can often be a rush, but sometimes the muse deserts us midstream and we're left floundering for an ending. Sometimes for a middle too. ;-)
The aim of this comm is to help authors get new words on old fic. Breaking a stalemate can be done and there are techniques, new approaches, that can help. Not every technique works for every person, but sometimes it's the effort and energy brought to the endeavor that flips the switch and gets the train moving again.
Partial fic as old as 1-2 years have gotten new words, gotten done and gotten published using these techniques. They can help you too.
How It Works
1. Pick one existing unfinished fic you realistically could get done within 2 weeks or less. If you have more than one fic to finish try not to pick the hardest one for your first attempt.
2. Join and watch the comm then register your intention to finish that fic in the Author Sign Ups post for the month you want to commit to. Each fic finishing round takes place in a calendar month.
3. Read the F-locked posts especially those that showcase techniques on how to get your fic finished. Do the exercises and suggestions and most of all *write your fic!*
4. When you finish your fic make a Fic Finished! post to the comm so we can celebrate with you. We'll add your fic to our Success Stories list as a sign of your accomplishment.

We are currently accepting sign ups for a limited number of fandoms to ensure a good peer community. More fandoms will follow based on level of interest. Post a comment on our Fandoms page to request your fandom be added. You may also want to watch the comm for announcements so you'll see which fandoms are added on the first day of the month for each Round.

I feel its only fair to let any potential readers know that its currently 120 pages but projected total page count will be 250-300 pages. Having branched out into the world of writing OT3, I have two stories to announce. They're companion pieces, but either one can stand alone. Both are Sam/Jack/Daniel, set sometime in season 7, involve pegging, and were inspired by a ficlet from surreallis and comments by rydra_wong.

Hi :) I hope this is allowed here. If it's not, please let me know and I'll delete it :)
I'm looking for a fic that's Jack/Daniel/Sam (which may or may not also have Teal'c in it, though I'm sure he was only mentioned), and which was set during the Season 8 episodes of Moebius (and is based when they are living in the past, if memory serves me correct).
If anyone knows of this fic, I'd be very much indebted to you for the help in locating it :)
