If there are enough people making SFU icons, I'll possibly start up icon-contests, where icons will be specified and you can compete against the other members etc (encouraging us to improve our icons).
For now, joining is completely open. But depending on circumstances, I may make it moderated. I want to maintain a good quality of icons and posting but I can't think of anyone that should be rejected yet.
General Rules
1. This is a community for Six Feet Under icons. Not Dawson's Creek icons, not Six Feet Under wallpapers. Please use this community for what it was made for.
2. Don't make a new post after every single icon you make. Try and wait until you've got a batch of about 4 or more.
3. No bashing of other people's icons. Like most icon communities, this one promotes constructive criticism. If you post icons, you should expect some. Don't worry, we won't bite though.
4. The icon isn't for requesting icons. Posts should be kept to icons only (or if you've got something else to say, say it when you've icons to post too). Some people allow requests at their own journals so maybe check people's private journals. Just avoid doing it here.
5. The more icons the better. But if you're posting in the region of 10 icons, make a cut. Here's how to make a lj-cut.
6. Post any SFU icons you have EXCEPT for ones that might cause serious offence (like "Die [insert actor's name]! Die!).
7. All icons you post are for using on lj so please fit them with lj's limits - that is a maximum of 100x100 pixels and 40k. Animated/non-animated, whatever you want.
8. All icons in this community are shared with the understanding that the creator will receive credit (unless expressed permission is given to use without it). If the creator does not state how they wish to be credited, use the default method: put their lj username in the keywords.
