Hi everyone,

Included in this latest issue are my BayCon and Maker Faire reviews. Lots of Steampunk in both! España also takes a different angle on Maker Faire and she went on Sunday while I went on Saturday.

I'm busily prepping for the PEERS Unseen University Ball on Saturday. The theme is Terry Pratchett's Discworld Novels. I'm currently enjoying Soul Music on DVD. I may play a medieval wizard. Hope to see you there! http://peers.org/unseen.html

Hi everyone, I won a Fan Activity Achievement Award for Best New Fanzine Fan at the Corflu convention in Seattle. More details on that in my Editorial, Chris's News and Notes, and Chris's Corflu coverage.

Also in my Editorial is a short blurb on my Doctor Who-themed birthday party. It was like a mini-convention!

España did a lot of Steampunking recently and has reviews of the Steampunk Salon and the Abney Park concert (both in San Francisco).

Our calendar listing is also up-to-date. Lots of events coming up!

Hi everyone, here's our latest issue with my review of the Christmas Revels and Christmas Gaskell Ball that happened on the same night in the same venue, lots of photos from the Browncoat Boxing Day party, and obituaries for 2 scifi icons (Ricardo Montalban and Patrick McGoohan). There's also Chris's coverage of John Scalzi and Mary Robinette Kowal's reading at Borderlands and España's column featuring Fritz Leiber.

And our new layout artist, Tom, has done it again! He's livened up the issue with lots of photos and artwork. Enjoy!

Happy new year to everyone! Here's the first issue of SF/SF for 2009 with a new look that's more colorful courtesy of our new layout guru Tom Becker. There's also lots more artwork and photos. In this issue, there's my review of the Dickens Christmas Fair and Espana's review of Anime LA.

We're sad to report that we lost another couple of important icons and we have obits for both Majel Roddenberry and Bob Wilkins.

To wrap up 2008, we have year-end statistics. Looking forward to 2009, we have a new, easier to read and print, monthly events calendar.

Enjoy!

Hi everyone, happy Autumn! I hope you're all doing well. Here's our latest issue, just in time for SiliCon this weekend. We've got lots of stories and photos. And of course, our calendar of events.
http://www.efanzines.com/SFSF/SFSF74.pdf

By the way, SF/SF is having its second annual room party at SiliCon this coming Friday at the San Jose Doubletree. We're going to be in room 263. Hope to see you there or at any upcoming fandom events.

Also, I'm going to be in two panels at SiliCon this weekend. At 4:00pm on Saturday, I'm going to be part of the Steampunk panel. At 1:00pm on Sunday, I will be at the Fandom Ettiquette panel. This should both be interesting and fun.
