So yeah, looks like I WAS right! It was a nipple ring, just not the traditional one!

It was all over the news and online that in fact it was NOT intentional. Justin had to even apologized to Janet.

That's a nipple shield. It's worn in tandem with pierced nipples. It's a standard piercing with standard jewelry, but the shield itself is what caught your attention.

3. The decoration makes me think deliberate.

First, this still has nothing to do with the community.
Second, if you're going to post a close-up picture like that, use the cut tag. That's not even close to being worksafe viewing.

I find that amusing, somehow. It isn't a worksafe photo, yet it's posted all over Yahoo News and traditional news websites...and over 120 million people saw it on prime-time television in addition to that -- like nearly half of all Americans!

How is it not worksafe given the context? Most workplaces I know of do not censor news-related sites but do censor porn.

Please cut this. It is not work safe.
Personally, I think it is a lovely piece of jewelry on a standard (but well built) piece of humanity. But it isn't something to be above a tag in a huge community like this. Please cut it.

Whatever the intention, however you feel about it - it was definitely the highlight of my Superbowl Party. Superbowl XXXVIII will not be remembered for a brilliant game won in the last minutes with a triumphant field goal... it will be the year of the boob!

Hi, I'm the admin of the sfbayarea community.

For future reference, please don't make posts like the Janet Jackson boob post in the sfbayarea community. My reasoning for this isn't even so much that there was a boob poking out in the community (although it should have been behind an lj-cut tag), but more that the post itself had absolutely nothing to do with the S.F. Bay Area.

Please read the posting guidelines for more details on what is and isn't acceptable for posts to the community.
