VOTE FOR MARCH'S MEMBER OF THE MONTH!

This is a rating community, so if you think you're ugly and scared of what people will think of you dont apply.

1. STAY ACTIVE. - if you dont update once a week, every week we'll randomly draw a person who wasn't active that week to boot out of the community.
2. DONT PROMOTE - promotions will be deleted by the Mods.
3. YOU MUST BE 16+ - unless you were invited by a Mod. We feel that 16 year olds bring a sense of maturity. But maturity doesn't come with age, and if a mod spots you and adds you ; we like you! JuSt DoNt TyPe LykI DiS.
4. LJCUT - you could have one image on the main page, but everything else, we want under LJ-cut. Also, no text only posts. This is a rating community. We want to hear about your lives and be updated on your lj status, but we also want to see your pretty faces. That's why you're here.
5. FRIENDS ONLY - make sure all entries are friends only, if you let it slip we will remind you but if it keeps happening it will be deleted.
6. PROMOTE - Sexxxscandal is meant to be a fun community. So make the best of it and let others in on it. Promote to people who you want in, or people you think are hideous. As long as you Promote.
7. RESPECT - Respect the existing members and the mods, be as mean as you want to the applicants. IF you don't like a member, we'll have challenges in which you can attempt to get them kicked out.

1. FILL OUT THE APPLICATION FULLY - the existing members will remind you if an application isn't fully filled out. if you disregard their reminder your application will be deleted.
2. DONT LURK! - you have 48 hours to complete an application. that's two days, which should be long enough to answer the questions given. your application will be deleted and you won't be able to apply for three months.
3. HEADER - When posting your application make sure it says 'THERES A SCANDAL' in subject. This way we will know that you read the rules.
4. BANNING! - We will ban an applicant under a couple of circumstances. (1) if you comment on someone elses post before being accepted, and disregard our three warnings. (2) if you delete comments from your application because someone was being mean. (3) if you've applied three times and haven't been accepted.
5. RESPECT - Who needs it? If someone says something you don't like about your application. TELL THEM. it will probably result in more rejection and ridicule, but it will be a fun read nonetheless.
6. FRIENDS ONLY - your entire application is to be friends only. If you don't Friends Only your post, we'll remind you. If you refuse to cooperate your application will be deleted and you'll be automaticall rejected.
7. LJ CUT - Don't clutter our community. If you don't LJ cut, , we'll remind you. If you refuse to cooperate your application will be deleted and you'll be automaticall rejected.
8. REAPPLY - You can try to reapply 3 times. If after the third time you're still rejected, we obviously don't want you. If you apply a fourth time, you'll be banned from the community.

1. IN APPLICATIONS - Put "yes', 'no', or 'sway me', in the applications. This makes it easier for the Mods to see if someone is rejected or accepted to the community. We'll stamp them once 3/4 of the members have their vote in, or every other day.
2. BE MEAN - In applications, don't be afraid to tell the applicants what you think. You have to be respectful to the existing members, but the applicants are putting theirselves out there in order to be judged. SO JUDGE 'EM. be honest!
3. OTHER - All the other rules for the existing members are under the 'MAIN RULES' section. Read it, love it, live by it.

we urge our members to gain points since points will give you special 'powers' when you get 200 points you get to make up up a upcoming theme. when you reach 250 points you get to make up a superlative to be used or change something in the application. when you reach 400 points you get to auto accept or reject and applicant. finally when you reach 600 points you get to kick out a member you dont like, basically you do a challenge but make sure you say i have 600 points and that member is gone. Then you start over again with your points once you hit 600 and use your points.

WAYS TO GAIN POINTS.
1. PROMOTE - promote to someone and leave a link in a NONTEXTONLY entry. - 10 points a promotion.
2. APPLYING FOR MEMBER OF THE MONTH - filling out a 'member of the month application' doesn't take much time. this can't be sloppily done just to get points, you have to persuade the members to choose you! You'll have two weeks to persuade. You could post 10028397298 posts promoting yourself. Just have fun with it! - 50 points.
3. WINNING MEMBER OF THE MONTH - If you win member of the month your face will be posted on your main page for a month. you'll also have the honor of feeling that your our best member for an entire month! - 200 points!
4. HUNTS - There will be three types of hunts. (1) Quote Hunts. (2) Computer Picture Hunts, and (3) Digital Camera Hunts. We'll have 10 objects a month in each hunt. - 5 points an object.
5. THEMES - Themes will be posted monthly. We'll have two themes a month to SHAKETHINGSUP. - 50 points a theme.
6. CHALLENGES - Points for challenges will appointed seperatly. You will get 20 points if you challenge someone. Now, challenges are risky. You can either gain 100 points by winning, or get kicked out for losing
7. FUN QUESTIONS - Whenever the mods feel like it, we'll post a question asking you a silly question. We'll include our answers in the post. (IE ; if you were a kitchen appliance what would you be. Mod #1. A blender because I shake things up..etc). Your job is to come up with a serious or funny, or anything answer. - 10 points.
8. CONTESTS - We'll have contests which vary from hairstyles, to clothing, to as far as cutest pet. These contests will take place the second two weeks of every month. If you enter the contest you get 50 points for that month. If you win, you get 100 points going towards next months tally.
9. Picture posts, just doing a stamped post with a picture of two gains you points - 10 points.

WAYS TO LOSE POINTS.
1. INACTIVITY - being active is an important part of joining a community. if you don't want to be active, don't be a part of our community, it's that simple. - -2 points every third day.
2. FORGETTING - forgetting to write 'STAMPED' in the header of your posts, or forgetting to write 'YES', 'NO', or 'MAYBE', in the subject line in applications. - -10 points.
3. WARNINGS - Warnings will be given before banning. You'll get three warnings a month, but our warnings are due to breaking of the rules. So this is a very easy way of losing points, DONT MESS UP - -100 points a warning.
4. NOT PROMOTING - promotions are what keep communities running. we expect, that as our members, you'll be as devoted to this community as we are. we expect that you promote once a month at the least - -50 points for the following month.
