Hopefully you, or someone you know can help me out here. I play Ginny Weasley off-and-on, usually for group RPGs and the like, but at the moment I am really craving a one-on-one RP where I can play Ginny against either Bill or Ron Weasley. It's 1999 and the Second War is at an end with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley as the heroes of the hour. Now more than ever, they’re considered the “Golden Trio” by Wizarding Britain and are the darlings of the international media. With the help of the Order of the Phoenix, they destroyed the horcruxes, one by one, and in doing so, uncovered the true loyalties of many of the Wizarding World’s best and brightest. More than just Slytherins were discovered to be Death Eaters (or sympathetic to their cause), and trials have commenced for the most prominent offenders who still live.

Anxious to put the death and destruction caused by Voldemort and the Death Eaters behind them, the Ministry has taken a somewhat kinder view toward those of the Trio’s generation. Having no wish to appear merciless by locking mere ‘children’ in Azkaban to await trial and an eventual Dementor’s Kiss, Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour has declared that they were too young to fully understand the magnitude of their actions. With Ministerial Decree 148, those who took the Mark or did Voldemort’s bidding while underage were acquitted and their records expunged. However, will they ever truly be free of the sins of their fathers? And were they really too young to know what they were doing?

Sins of the Father is a Harry Potter roleplaying game. It is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince compliant, and focuses on the struggle of the children of the Death Eaters to reintegrate themselves into a society that while supposedly forgiving, is also still scarred by the actions of their parents.

Dark Marked is a canon Marauder Era RPG set in 1973, when the Marauders are beginning their fifth year at Hogwarts. We plan to officially open May 1st, and we are currently seeking James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Lucius Malfoy, Rodolphus Lestrange, Rabastan Lestrange, Frank Longbottom, and many more!

Unlike many journal-based roleplays, Dark Marked allows players to navigate a simulated Wizarding World and Hogwarts Castle. Players will enjoy detailed, plot-driven roleplaying on our ad-free, members-only forum. Hogwarts staff, ghosts, alumni, Ministry officials, and Death Eaters are also welcome to join the game. In addition to traditional role-playing, characters can reflect in their journals, sends notes, and earn house points by submitting optional homework assignments and participating in Quidditch matches. Hogsmeade visits and holiday events ensure that Dark Marked is never boring! Currently, Diagon Alley is open until the semester begins.
