This community is an alternative to the community

sextips. Here you can post questions, tips, advice, and stories if you wish. I hope to make this community just as successful, with less Nazi-ism regarding what you can and can't post, and more maturity. However there will be a few rules and general things to remember:

1) As of January 2005, membership in this community will be moderated. Members under sixteen will not be admitted unless special permission by email request is granted. Birthdates must be listed on your info page so that I can verify ages when I approve requests to join. This is also to help keep out trolls and fake accounts.
Additionally, if you have something you are uncomfortable posting, or don't want/are unable to join, you can email the entry to me with the subject 'anonymous sexadvice post' and I can post it anonymously for you.

2) Please do not be vague with your questions. (ie. "How do I give a blowjob?") It leads to a lot of repeat questions, unhelpful answers, and irritated people once they see the question 43 times. Give a bit of background so we know what you're asking about.
Also, if you think your topic might be a common one, there could already be information for you in the entries in the memories.

3) Use proper English, and please proofread before you post. No 1337 or netspeak, please, for the love of all that is sacred.

4) Keep all posts relevant, and use the lj-cut on longer entries and pictures. I don't mind if new members make introduction posts, but please make sure they have something to do with the community. Please don't post to advertise other communities even if they have to do with sex. If you contact me, I will take a look at it and if it is appropriate I may add a link to it in the info. Or, you could check out

sex_comm, a community that specializes in noting sex-related communities.

5) Remember that the people in this community are just regular people, not doctors. We don't know if you have an std, we don't necessarily know if you are pregnant or have a yeast infection. We can try and help, but remember that our word is not necessarily right.

6) Please be polite to other users. Don't delete comments that are not your own. If someone has responded to your post in a way that you're uncomfortable with, please contact me. If comments are overly judgemental or needlessly insulting I will delete them.
