AboutThis community has been created for the scientists of LJ as a place to discuss relevant literature and journal articles.
The journal is open to posters at any educational level.
Guidlines for posting:
1)Post a citation to your article of choice. Please be sure to include the first author's name, article title, journal name, issue and volume, and year of publication.
2)Your article must come from a peer reviewed journal or scientific magazine. Links to articles on cnn.com or other popular media sites will not be accepted.
3)If relevant, post a few links to some websites or reviews that might give helpful background for those of use not familiar with your field. Popular media sites will be allowed in this area.
3)Post a few thoughts on the article and a few questions that you pondered as you read the article.
4)Each poster will be responsible for moderating their own discussion thread. Please do your part to answer questions and keep the discussion on topic.
Banned Behaviors
The following will not be allowed in this community:
1)Requests for homework help.
2)Cartoons, jokes, quizzes, or other general snark.
3)General discussion posts. For example, any posts that starts with: "I was wondering what everyone thought of...XXX"
4)Requests for help with your research.
The purpose of this community is to discuss current fields of interest. Let the games being!
